Located in Forcalquier, in the heart of Provence, Camping Les Routes de Provence covers nearly 4 hectares of wooded land surrounded by nature. The town has two large supermarkets, a wide range of smaller shops as well as many excellent restaurants. English newspapers are available from early morning in the town. The area benefits from the lovely Provencal climate. Camping Théâtre Romain caters for couples and families who are looking for a peaceful and spotlessly clean campsite. It is the perfect spot to appreciate the beauty of Provence and the history of the area. Established in 1994 the campsite is less than 600 yards from the town centre, a gentle stroll past the ruins of a Roman town and its Roman theatre. We have 65 pitches as well as 17 Mobile Homes for rent situated on over 3 acres. The pitches are mainly separated by hedges interspersed with mature trees to provide partial shade. Our facilities include a heated swimming pool, a boules area and free Wi-Fi internet access. There is no organised entertainment for children !!!
