Vaison la Romaine is situated 8 miles from the foot of the 6,263ft high Mont Ventoux and is surrounded by the numerous picturesque villages of the High Vaucluse. It is a real paradise for walkers, cyclists and wine lovers. The town itself is renowned for its imposing Roman ruins, its medieval _old town_ as well as its large and fascinating Provencal market each Tuesday. The town has two large supermarkets, a wide range of smaller shops as well as many excellent restaurants. English newspapers are available from early morning in the town. The area benefits from the lovely Provencal climate. Camping Théâtre Romain caters for couples and families who are looking for a peaceful and spotlessly clean campsite. It is the perfect spot to appreciate the beauty of Provence and the history of the area. Established in 1994 the campsite is less than 600 yards from the town centre, a gentle stroll past the ruins of a Roman town and its Roman theatre. We have 65 pitches as well as 17 Mobile Homes for rent situated on over 3 acres. The pitches are mainly separated by hedges interspersed with mature trees to provide partial shade. Our facilities include a heated swimming pool, a boules area and free Wi-Fi internet access. There is no organised entertainment for children !!!

The campsite, at an altitude of 756 m, has a stream running through it, a mini-beach and picnic tables. A starting point for many activities on the Verdon, the GR4 trail leads to Chasteuil, Point Sublime and the Sentier Blanc Martel, overlooking the Gorges du Verdon. Edmond and Véronique look forward to welcoming you to their unspoilt, family-friendly environment, far from traffic and surrounded by nature. At the foot of the Luberon, our Étang de La Bonde campsite invites you to relax by the shores of the Étang de La Bonde. With direct access to the lake, you can enjoy our beautiful beach as well as various water activities.  Within the campsite, you can take advantage of our multi-sports field, tennis court, pétanque courts, and children's playground. Our snack bar will delight the whole family with tables overlooking the lake. The menu features fresh, seasonal dishes, as well as delicious homemade pizzas. For our van, motorhome, caravan, or tent travelers, you can opt for pitches with a lake view, and our communal restrooms are equipped with self-cleaning toilets.

The Provençal village of Gréoux-les-Bains, set in the Regional Nature Park of the Verdon and near the Lubéron Nature Park, and dominated by its castle, is a perfect place to enjoy a pleasant holiday in the Provence. The purple lavender fields, the turquoise waters of the Verdon and the Provençal scents will enchant you! Camping la Pinède**** is a human-scaled campsite with 105 rental accommodations (mobile homes and chalets) and 61 spacious camping pitches for your stay in a caravan, tent or camper van.
