You'll find a dozen campsites in Pula, all close to the city centre. This major town of south Istria features many roman remains that are worth seeing. Among these, the 6th largest amphitheatre in the world - it could host 25,000 people. The people of Pula call it "Arena". Many concerts and other major events are still organized there. You can also visit Pula's forum and contemplate Sergi's arch, a triumphal arch from the 1st century.
Most campsites are located on the coast, by the Adriatic sea. Take a look at camping Stoja for instance, only 3 kms from Pula. A few kilometers to the west, Camping Brioni** welcomes visitors next to the pier that leads you to Brioni nationla park.
