The campsite, at an altitude of 756 m, has a stream running through it, a mini-beach and picnic tables. A starting point for many activities on the Verdon, the GR4 trail leads to Chasteuil, Point Sublime and the Sentier Blanc Martel, overlooking the Gorges du Verdon. Small family campsite at the heart of Manosque, enjoy a site ideally located between the Gorges du Verdon and the Luberon, in the heart of Provence. A campsite human size and friendly atmosphere with recent and appropriate infrastructure for the whole family.

Castellane (altitude 720m) is situated in Haute-Provence, at the crossroads of the magnificent Gorges du Verdon (Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon) and the Route Napoléon. It is a calm tourist centre and enjoying the benefits of the Provençal climate. Camping Notre-Dame is bordered by a small stream and is only 600 m from the village. The site is flat and well shaded, having a quiet family atmosphere, providing free hot showers (24 hours a day), small shop and a variety of mobile-homes to rent. Castellane itself offers many shops and a supermarket, a large heated swimming-pool, tennis courts, rafting, kayaking, canyonning and fishing in the Verdon river. At the lake of Castillon, a mere 5kms up a splendid hill, one can sail, windsurf and swim. In addition, there is hiking, horse riding, mountain biking and climbing in the Gorges du Verdon. For the experts, there is cave exploring and geological sites (Réserve Géologique de Haute-Provence). Camping Notre-Dame is open April / October.
