Le Martinet campsite on the banks of the Loire at Briare Le Canal offers you the chance to get up close and personal with nature. On the banks of the Loire, discover the sixty species of dragonfly found in the Loiret, follow in the footsteps of the discreet beaver, rediscover your child's eyes as you observe the sublime day peacocks, the colourful bee-eaters, the terns, the kingfishers and of course the swifts, these prodigious birds which have given their name to our campsite and which have the surprising characteristic of never landing on the ground. They eat, drink, sleep, breed and collect nesting material without ever stopping to fly, except when it's time to lay their eggs.Just two kilometres from the famous Pont-Canal de Briare, you'll learn about the fascinating local history of Henri IV, Jean-Félix Bapterosses and Gustave Eiffel.You'll also enjoy all the amenities of the town of Briare le Canal, just ten minutes away on foot, or five minutes by bike.

The campsite is located in 4 hectares of grounds, right in the heart of Touraine and Loire châteaux country.35 km (22 miles) south of Tours and 6 km (4 miles) from the A10 motorway (exit 25 between Chinon and Loches.)Just one km from the Vienne river where fishing, boating and water skiing are all possible.The GR48 hiking trail passes just by the château gates.

Our campsite has 5 stars and 169 pitches and is located between the main castles of the Loire region. Blois, Chambord, Cheverny, Chenonceau and Amboise are within reach in less than 20 miles and the at 3 miles from the campsite you can visit the castle of Chaumont and its international garden festival.We installed 8 chalets and 32 mobile homes of high quality. They are isolated with a radiator in every room, with TV européen chanels. We have 3 sanitary buildings (one of the three is heated) , 2 baby rooms, 1 room for disabled people, 3 washing machines and 3 dryers. One of them waches as at home

Situated in 12 kms of Blois, the Farm de Prunay is charm camping, with peace and relaxation in an authentic and natural farm. Pitches are very spacious (200 to 400 m²). A wide educationals activities are proposed during holidays : make bread, tractor trailer, cocooning with small animals, construction of huts in wood, hiking with donkies and dogs, camp fire etc...

This camp-site is an excellent departure base for your discovery excursions of the troglodytes (mushroom cellar, wine cellars) and the famous Castles of the Loire.

This family campsite is spread out over 4 ha. La Citadelle welcomess you on the banks of the Indre River and the foot of the ramparts of the medieval city of Loches in the Touraine, just 5 minutes by foot from the city-centre.

Well situated in the heart of the Sologne region and not far from the Loire châteaux this municipal campsite is an ideal place to stay for the lovers of culture and nature.
