Review of the campsite

The fully serviced pitches are very good in size , marked red on map. We had problem from day one with the electricity which kept going off for us and 2 other pitches. This was controlled from the reception circuit breaker board, once we had to call the on call to come and switch it back on. We were also disturbed (as well as people on other pitches) by a group of about 10-12 teenagers running around until gone 11 at night making a disturbance around the campsite. This was reported to reception but it just carried on, there was no adult supervision anywhere. The facilities were good.

Improved electrics to pitches for supply to A4 There must be better security at night to ensure respect for people staying at your site.

Location and pitch size

The sanitaires were in need of refurbishment and decoration and a more thorough cleaning regime. The games room was uninviting and dirty.

Our stay at Camping de l'etang was outstanding the reception team, cleaners and the maintenance team were all very kind and polite nothing was to much for them to do. It was a pity we could not stop longer, the toilet facilities, swimming pools and the restaurant were always clean and tidy, the food was really tasty and hot. The restaurant staff were excellant on the occasions we ate there. The pitch we were on was large enough to get our double axle caravan, awning and car on and still have as much space again. The site was spotless no rubbish lying around. We will come again .

The only issue we came across was the bridge over the stream, some of the wood needs replacing, that said just before we left the maintenance team were looking to do some repairs.

A campsite in a rural location just outside the small village of Brissac quince. The campsite is spread over a large area with a small stream & bridge separating the site into 2 halves. The facilities are 'mixed' with two shower/toilet blocks either side of the bridge. Pitches are grassed and are generous in size with electric & water points on the pitch. Great areas for dog walking all around the site and along the stream. The pool area was excellent although the bar is only open in high season.

The site has designated/sign posted a drain at the side of the nearest toilet block as a 'chem waste point' - it is not, it's a drain! Motorhome/caravan toilet cassettes should be emptied at the MSP in the top corner of the site to save embarrassment.

The pitches were huge with water and electric close by, reception staff were very pleasant and helpful.

It would have been nice if the restaurant and bar were open, and the wooden bridge onto the site requires looking at.

Lovely staff, great set up with lots of sites but self enclosed with hedging. Very clean facilites. Lovely roses.

The wooden bridge needs a new plank but otherwise no.

Friendly, efficient staff at reception, all spoke good english. Croissants and baguettes available. Big pitches and good, clean facilities. We chose elctric without water, but water service was also available. Black and grey disposal also provided..

We’re just home from a peaceful week in Brissac Quince staying at Eco Etang campsite. We had wonderful weather, long walks and time to relax fishing by the lake, swimming all in perfect surroundings.
