You can also stay there in a rental: mobile homes, wooden and canvas lodge tents without sanitary facilities (new for 2023) by the river, Bengali tents, or gites, by the night, a weekend, a week or more. There is a wood at the foot of the hill on which the castle Biron and its village are located. Nestled in between those trees are our rentals. Each accommodation has between 50m² (540 sq.ft.) and 65m² (700 sq.ft.) living space as well as a spacious veranda between 15m² (160 sq.ft.) and 20m² (220 sq.ft.). Welcome to Camping Maisonneuve, St Jory de Chalais. We are a small, family-run campsite, set in 26 acres, within the Parc Naturel Régional Périgord-Limousin, in Périgord Vert, Dordogne. We have 40 touring pitches, as well as mobile homes and wooden pod available for rental. All pitches are generously sized, averaging 100 sq m, some sunny, some shady and all bordered by mature trees and hedging, with access to an electric hook-up. Many pitches also have private water connection points, and we have hard-standing pitches available for those who prefer.On site you’ll find fully-licensed bar and pizzeria, Au Château d’Eau, with a wide range of drinks and home-cooked pizzas available, served either inside or out on the terrace. Our visitors can enjoy a sun-lounger by the swimming pool and benefit from free Wi-Fi and a big-screen in the bar for those important sporting occasions.There is plenty to explore in the region, whether it be beautiful ancient villages, historic châteaux, breathtaking deep gorges, prehistoric caves, or taking a canoe down the Dordogne, the Vézère or the Dronne. However, if you would like to stay on-site, you can take a ramble around the campsite – we have a private fishing lake and woodland walks along the River Touroulet right on our doorstep.

Terme d'Astor is a friendly family camp-site in the Dordogne. With enough space for all, young and old, lovers of peace and those who like it lively. Our camp-site is in the middle of a beautiful nature, where you will have a lovely time doing lots, or nothing at all. Just as you wish. You will find our camp-site (17 hectare) on a plateau in wooded hills. There are 100 large pitches with lots of privacy. But you can also choose to rent one of our chalets for your next holidays.

Our Campsite is more then 5 hectare and has 70 pitches for tents and caravans, 14 chalets (of which 2 are wheelchair accessible), 4 SAFARI tents, 2 KARSTEN tents and 1 gîte.
