The treasures of the Île de Ré Located on the eastern side of the Île de Ré, Le Bel Air Campsite makes an ideal base for exploring the wonders of this pearl in the Atlantic Ocean. The campsite offers traditional tent/caravan pitches but also the Freeflower all-canvas holiday home as well as beautiful cabins and lodges. From La Flotte-en-Ré you can enjoy the charms of the local ports and villages with their brightly painted shutters and narrow, wallflower-lined streets. The Bel Air is also a great starting point for exploring the island by bicycle or boat. For those interested in swimming, the long, sandy Plage de l’Arnérault is located just 900m from the campsite.

At the campsite, you will find peace and quiet ... On the southern orientation, the campsite is shaded. All sites have electricity. The tranquility of the site is ensured through access by automatic gates and vehicular traffic is prohibited from 22h to 7h. Guests arriving after 22h, can park in the parking lot close to the reception. A few meters from the campsite, a leisure center hosts a multitude of activities. New on our campsite in 2025, the snack! 

This 4-star campsite is located on the Loix peninsula in the Île de Ré’s smallest village. An island on an island, the village is linked to the rest of the Île de Ré by a single narrow lane which winds through the salt marshes. The campsite is friendly and family-oriented, offering a programme of activities six days a week in July and August as well as a busy kids’ club led by mascot “Tommie”. Take advantage of the site’s numerous leisure facilities with a swim in the pool, fun in the paddling pool or a dip in the jacuzzi. In terms of accommodation, there’s something to suit very taste from the comfort of a static caravan, chalet or all-canvas Freeflower holiday home to traditional camping pitches separated by hedges. The campsite also offers a wide range of facilities including a snack bar, a small shop and Wi-Fi access.

You will take your bicycle to discover the island, and Isolated coastline, very rural, wide beaches, salt marshes.
