Our village is located 600 metres from the sea and 10 km from Royan, much of it situated in a pine forest typical of south west France.

Located in the heart of the Ile de Ré, the Amis de la Plage campsite is perfect for kicking back with family. The campsite enjoys direct access to the beach, meaning all you have to do is sit back and relax with no extra planning or driving involved! The Île de Ré is also a great choice for long bike rides. At the campsite, you will find peace and quiet ... On the southern orientation, the campsite is shaded. All sites have electricity. The tranquility of the site is ensured through access by automatic gates and vehicular traffic is prohibited from 22h to 7h. Guests arriving after 22h, can park in the parking lot close to the reception. A few meters from the campsite, a leisure center hosts a multitude of activities. New on our campsite in 2025, the snack!

Les Charmettes offers a perfect holiday destination that ticks all the boxes for a great break away.Situated on the west coast of France, near famous places such as Bordeaux, La Rochelle and Cognac, it's a great base for getting out and exploring, and you'll find that there are plenty of activities to keep even the younger ones entertained. If relaxing more locally is your idea of holiday heaven, then head down to the central entertainment complex. Mums and dads can pull up a sunbed next to the vast oudoor pool, whilst the youngsters are guaranteed hours of fun with the splash zones, water slides and many supervised activities, such as water games and even the Rookie Lifeguard course! Our pitches for tents and caravans are pleasantly bounded with beautiful vegetable hedges and we also propose a wide choice of comfortable mobil homes for 4 to 6 people, with 2 and also 3 rooms. Oleron _The Luminous_ is the second largest French island after Corsica. Oleron is 175 Km² and has an exceptional climate. In Oleron you can find beautiful sandy beaches, labelled Pavillon Bleu (A Blue Flag award for very good environmental standards) and it is a little haven for nautical sports (windsurfing, kite surfing, sand yachting, canoeing, etc). Go for a walk, ride a bike or a horse to the heart of the pine forest and the marshes. This 4-star campsite is located on the Loix peninsula in the Île de Ré’s smallest village.
