And for hiking, family walks and mountain biking, Le Clos de la Chaume has long been a popular centre from which to explore the Vosges Regional Country Park, Alsace and Lorraine. There is a range of accommodation available – flat grassy pitches in the shade, some of them with direct access to the stream, or chalet and mobile home rental for 2 to 6 people with timber decks. At Le Clos de la Chaume, Colin Wood’s family offers the extra touches that make a holiday great – WiFi, bread and croissants, ice creams, drinks, pizzas, washing machines etc. Numerous activities on site: outdoor pool, volleyball court, boules pitch, table tennis, children’s playgrounds, games room etc. The village of Corcieux just 500 metres from the site has all the usual neighbourhood services and shops.

Camping Le Moulin stands on ancient XVIIth century domain and deligthful surroundings of the Garonne river. 200m² swimming-pool with waterslides, free tennis court, etc... Entertainment organised all summer long. Wooden chalets are available for rent. Our four-star campsite is located at the end of a road just outside the village, so it is also very quiet. The closest motorway leads to both Toulouse and the Pyrenees but it is 3 km away, sparing us noise and pollution. Most of the 99 pitches have their own water and electric hook-ups. They are between 90 and 200 m², bordered with hedges and mostly well shaded. Moreover the campsite has a new, modern, top of the range sanitary block. The labels 'Qualité Tourisme', 'Sites et Paysages de France' and 'The green key' attest to the amenity of the place and the quality of our services. Our site is also recommended by numerous travel guides such as Michelin, ANWB, Alan Rogers, ADAC, ACSI, AA, FFCC, Le Routard, Le Petit Futé, etc. Off to one side of the estate, slightly isolated in an oak copse, we have built seventeen fully equipped wooden chalets. Looking onto the last hills before the Pyrenees, they ideally suited for those who prefer the comfort of a permanent accommodation. For the others we also offer mobile homes and caravans with awnings, both of which are set on the campsite. The forest area – more than 12 Ha in total – is in between the stream for the old water mill and the river Garonne. This area, cut-off from the rest of the world is the 'wild island' – the perfect place for a stroll, to walk a dog (this definitely is dogs paradies) or even fish for roach, pike or trout in the Garonne.

Traditionnally, the Haute Savoie is a must for lovers of good cooking, and the restaurant at La Colombière is an excellent choice, being one of the most highly reputed restaurants in the entire region.

In the middle of its trees, floats in the air this little something different to which each camper happily contributes. In addition to its particularly green and family atmosphere, the "flagship" asset of this campsite is its super cozy and cocooning little bar. "Cherry on the cake": the homemade burgers are excellent there ;-)! Good little concerts will also be offered there every Wednesday evening in season. This campsite still offers you a number of activities to spend a tip top holiday: - a magnificent landscaped swimming pool - an indoor play structure for the little ones, with its ball pool and trampoline, our children love it! - Covered petanque and table tennis courts. . . In short, the rare Breton rains (possible of course) should not prevent you from having a good time 😊 . At Camping Sites & Paysages du Pouldu , you will be just a step (or maybe two!) from the beaches and a charming little port. The most epicurean among you will not be left out: always a stone's throw away, many shops are open in season. What else?! ;-) In my opinion, it's a hell of a good plan to explore the south of Brittany and its beautiful Rias.
