In a valley on the banks of the Dunière river, an excellent fishing river, and at the heart of a network of hiking and mountain biking itineraries, the Vaubarlet Campsite welcomes you to 35 acres of green pastures surrounded by wooded hills. At your disposal a heated swimming pool and paddling pool, a restaurant and bar, Chalets, Cottages Nature, equipped Lodge Safari-tents and a real Gipsy Wagon. Multiple possibilities of hill walks around the site as well as the outdoor pursuits like mountain biking and canoeing. Principal historic sites such as Le Puy-en-Velay and the preserved nature of an authentic region, far away from mass tourism.

For first time camping we couldn’t stay at a better place!

Review of the campsite

The staff is amazing! They are always smiling and any questions are answered with a solution or any tips. For us a first time camping. We couldn’t find a better campsite to begin with. The riverside is amazing with lots of shadow because of the trees and the water is very refreshing.

The wifi connection is not so stable and fast.

Very friendly campsite

Review of the campsite

It was in a lovely setting, amazing facilities if you had children, so much for them to do in an organised, safe manner. The bar/ pool area very nice and the staff friendly and helpful. At the very bottom of a valley so if you want to cycle you have a very steep climb at the beginning…. and a very easy return!!! Would recommend- a very relaxed feel about the site.
