Camping de Vaubarlet lies amidst the landscapes of the Haute-Loire which is situated between the modern city of St Etienne and the medieval town of Le Puy-en-Velay, and an hour’s drive from Lyon. In a valley on the banks of the Dunière river, an excellent fishing river, and at the heart of a network of hiking and mountain biking itineraries, the Vaubarlet Campsite welcomes you to 35 acres of green pastures surrounded by wooded hills. At your disposal a heated swimming pool and paddling pool, a restaurant and bar, Chalets, Cottages Nature, equipped Lodge Safari-tents and a real Gipsy Wagon. Multiple possibilities of hill walks around the site as well as the outdoor pursuits like mountain biking and canoeing. Principal historic sites such as Le Puy-en-Velay and the preserved nature of an authentic region, far away from mass tourism.

Camping Le Moulin stands on ancient XVIIth century domain and deligthful surroundings of the Garonne river. 200m² swimming-pool with waterslides, free tennis court, etc... Entertainment organised all summer long. Wooden chalets are available for rent. Our four-star campsite is located at the end of a road just outside the village, so it is also very quiet. The closest motorway leads to both Toulouse and the Pyrenees but it is 3 km away, sparing us noise and pollution. Most of the 99 pitches have their own water and electric hook-ups. They are between 90 and 200 m², bordered with hedges and mostly well shaded. Moreover the campsite has a new, modern, top of the range sanitary block. The labels 'Qualité Tourisme', 'Sites et Paysages de France' and 'The green key' attest to the amenity of the place and the quality of our services. Our site is also recommended by numerous travel guides such as Michelin, ANWB, Alan Rogers, ADAC, ACSI, AA, FFCC, Le Routard, Le Petit Futé, etc. Off to one side of the estate, slightly isolated in an oak copse, we have built seventeen fully equipped wooden chalets. Looking onto the last hills before the Pyrenees, they ideally suited for those who prefer the comfort of a permanent accommodation. For the others we also offer mobile homes and caravans with awnings, both of which are set on the campsite. The forest area – more than 12 Ha in total – is in between the stream for the old water mill and the river Garonne. This area, cut-off from the rest of the world is the 'wild island' – the perfect place for a stroll, to walk a dog (this definitely is dogs paradies) or even fish for roach, pike or trout in the Garonne.

Away from the noise and bustle of the big tourist traps and yet so close to all the marvels of the Ardèche, you can enjoy an unsurpassed period of relaxation in one of the most beautiful valleys of the “Vivarais cévenol”. During the warmest days, you may perhaps prefer to lounge around our 2 swimming pools, one with water slides, or plunge into the cool waters of the river La Beaume nearby. Or you may want to get a breath of fresh and invigorating air on the tops of the Tanargue range or on the “Corniche du Vivarais” not far away. And lastly, if you want to go down the Ardèche river Gorges in a canoe or explore the gorge by foot, you can start your adventure at Vogüé or Balazuc which are 20 minutes away by car.
