We stayed in the gites which were lovely. Great site, great pool, nice restaurant!

We have stayed the last 2 weeks of August for the last 3 years. this year the entertainment was poor in comparison which was disappointing.

Tiles in the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner there was some mould, also the sink looked like it was coming off the wall. We did have some issues with the WiFi and dishwasher but they were sorted.

Everything you need for a family camping holiday

Really well designed and run site with all the facilities you need and with very friendly and helpful staff. This was our 5th visit and each time it’s got a little better, especially after the building work before last year’s season. The pitches are a good size and it’s easy to walk into town and to the local beaches. Facilities such as toilets and the bar are clean and the shop is well stocked for basics and the daily baguette/croissant run. Our kids love it here and it’s become our regular summer site- they never want to go anywhere else when we ask!

The padel court hire was expensive for the hour. It’s not really the fault of the site but we had a few close calls with children riding around on their bikes, unaware of other road users.

Summer Holiday 2025

We originally found L'Oceano d'Or in August 2006 when stopping at St Gilles. We loved the site and the central location to Jard sur Mer straight away. The years passed and during that time a pair of twin girls came along, so we subsequently had three holidays in our tent in 2012, 13 and 15. Even though it was a fantastic site, over the past ten years there have been notable improvements right across which has made it even better. Especially around the entertainment area, which is a hive of activity. We're looking to come back in two years time.

Excellent all-round campsite

Sheltered (by tree) pitch but also able to access sun. Good value restaurant. Nice bar area (used a lot). Close to Jard centre. Sayed nine years ago. Much improved.

Excellent Campsite

We have stayed here for a number of years and keep coming back due to its ideal location. With a supermarket, fuel station, village centre, beach, marina and excellent restaurants all within a 20 minute walk I hardly need to use the car. The site received a lot of upgrades last year which improved an already excellent site

Low level branches could be removed to ensure they do not damage the roof of caravans on pitches P0 - P44
