A real French Campsite!
Review of the campsite
A well placed site, 20mins from the beach but very secluded and generally very quiet. Our pitch was very generous and our large (7m x 5m) tent and van used only half of the space. Electric service was excellent, no failures while we were there. Toilet block was always clean and staff were friendly and obliging. There was entertainment three of the 6 nights which we were there. All were well supported and enjoyable and we're better than I would have expected for a relatively small site.
WiFi where we were was poor, but telephone signal was good enough. The food in the bar was simple but filling and portions were generous, but service was a bit slow, both times we used it, but it was busy every night, so maybe our experience was a one off. There was a welcome evening on Sundays, we did attend but it was all in French (unsurprisingly), and my limited understanding meant it was of no use. The attempt to reduce water usage was undermined by not having plugs in the washing up sinks, so if you didn't have a bowl everyone was just washing under running water.

Parcelle numéro 93 en cuvette , 5 cm d’eau à la moindre averse !! Autant dire que en tente cents invivable. Annulation de 5 nuits sans aucun geste financier de la part de la direction.

Votre commentaire mentionne la parcelle n°93, qui n’existe pas dans notre camping, ce qui montre déjà une confusion.
Vous avez séjourné chez nous en plein mois d’août, période où les conditions d’annulation doivent être respectées. Comme partout, la météo fait partie des aléas des vacances en plein air : nos emplacements sont naturels, entretenus, mais il peut arriver qu’ils soient momentanément plus humides en cas de fortes pluies. Cela n’a rien d’« invivable », et certainement pas de quoi mettre toutes les notes de votre avis à moins de 5/10. Cela ressemble davantage à une réaction de déception qu’à une évaluation objective de notre établissement.
Il est illusoire de penser qu’un camping pourrait rembourser tous les clients sous tente à chaque épisode pluvieux en plein mois d'août. Nous faisons toujours de notre mieux pour accompagner nos vacanciers en cas de souci, mais nous ne pouvons évidemment pas être tenus responsables du climat.

Concernant la télévision, nous avons choisi cet agencement pour optimiser l’espace, mais nous prenons en compte votre remarque.
Pour le stationnement, l’aménagement des emplacements tient compte de la végétation existante : les arbres apportent l’ombre et la fraîcheur qui font aussi le charme du camping, mais cela peut en effet rendre certaines manœuvres moins simples.

le cadre très agréable avec les arbres pour l'ombre en cas de chaleur, la piscine bien grande et chauffée, l'acceuil, la disponibilité du personnel (panne de gaz à 20 h changement de la bouteille immédiatement)
Le restaurant-épicerie- dépot de pain, le monsieur pas aimable nous n'avons pris qu'une seule fois notre baguette durant les 14 jours et de ce fait, pas eu envie d'aller boire un verre et d'y manger
Peut être l'arrêt fin août des animations, dommage pour les vacanciers de septembre (on était pas nombreux il faut dire)

Équipe très à l'écoute et très réactive.

Camping ou l'on peut se reposer dans le calme surtout si l'on choisit le mois de septembre.
La région offre moins d'attractions à cette période mais on trouve toujours quelque chose à faire ou à voir.

séjour agréable et calme toutefois nous aurions aimé quelques animations même en septembre
Le sol autour de la piscine est de mauvaise qualité il se désagrège ce qui fait mal au pieds

Concernant les chemins, il est vrai qu’en cas de pluie, ils peuvent devenir boueux. Nous comprenons que cela puisse être gênant. Sachez que nous travaillons sur des solutions alternatives adaptées ; en effet, la réglementation locale ne nous autorise pas à goudronner les allées, afin de préserver la perméabilité des sols. Nous privilégions donc des matériaux drainants qui respectent l’environnement tout en améliorant le confort de circulation.

Nous regrettons votre commentaire qui ne reflète pas la réalité de votre séjour. Vous critiquez le manque d’animations alors que nous organisons régulièrement des concerts, soirées et activités variées pour nos vacanciers. C’est facile de dire qu’il n’y a « rien » quand on choisit de ne pas y participer.
Concernant la propreté, nos mobil-homes sont systématiquement nettoyés et contrôlés avant chaque arrivée. En cas de remarque, il suffit de prévenir la réception : notre équipe intervient rapidement pour vérifier et refaire le ménage si nécessaire.
Nous rappelons également que, pour le confort de tous, la circulation est interdite après 23h dans l’enceinte du camping. Votre mécontentement semble davantage lié à cette règle commune, que nous faisons respecter à tous, qu’à la réalité de votre hébergement.
Enfin, nous tenons à préciser que nous vous avons attribué un mobil-home plus spacieux et ombragé que celui initialement réservé, en tenant compte du fait que vous étiez enceinte. Ce geste de considération n’apparaît pas dans votre avis, ce qui est regrettable.
Votre commentaire ressemble davantage à une réaction personnelle qu’à un témoignage objectif de l’expérience vécue au Camping La Clairière.
