A nice quiet campsite
Review of the campsite
We like the fact that vehicle access is restricted to the campsite late at night. The mobile homes are nicely spaced out. Facilities within the mobile homes are fairly basic, but perfectly satisfactory. The bed was comfortable. The site manager was responsive when we had problems with the door lock, taking the door off its hinges and re-fixing it - which worked! - so we'd say that customer service was good. The site is a nice walk away from the beach at Anse de Rospico and a short drive into Nevez.

The family run site has a really nice environment and well equipped chalets. Although our French is poor the staff were always very helpful. It’s ideally located near the beach and not too far to the supermarket.

The campsite is great and the family team running it super nice. This campsite proposes very nice and delimited pitches, perfect for tents or caravans. Showers and toilets blocks are always very clean. The campsite also offers lots of activities for the kids (swimming pool, bouncy castle, ping pong tables, big outdoor playground) which is great. Ideally located close to 3 very nice beaches (Rospico, Tahiti plage, Port Manech), a picturesque Port (Kerdruc) and the lovely town of Nevez. Highly recommended.

We liked the fact that the basics were all there. The bed wascomfortable and the shower always had hot water.
The bedroom was very snug - it really needed a little bit more space than the 6 inches or so it had on either side.

We were welcomed very warmly. The accommodation was extremely clean and well cared for. The everyone was extremely helpful.
It would be helpful to be able to park closer to the Mobile home, a pitch with less tree shade would be good.

Review of the campsite
Loved Camping des Chaumieres. We were given a great pitch in the annexe section which seemed to be mainly for adults. A good idea for all concerned in a busy period like July. Water, electrics and drainage all available. Good new facility block with lovely hot water and very clean. Good walk/ drive to local beach and many accessible in the area. Staff helpful and welcoming .
We chose the site for its quietness and lack of animations but perhaps would have enjoyed a small bar area open for a couple of hours 3/4 times a week to meet other campers.

Fabulous stay in Brittany
Review of the campsite
All staff really friendly and helpful and always smiling. The facilities fantastically clean and a decent size and always plenty of hot water. The location is good with lots of walks and cycle paths and close to shops and restaurants and nice beaches. Everything was excellent and think it should be a four star campsite.

Really large, flat pitch with shade and sun and tall hedges to separate from neighboring pitch. Good access on and off pitch. (They even cut the grass on our pitch whilst we were out one day so all kept neat and tidy).
