We hadden een geweldig mooie standplaats. Netjes afgesloten, weinig tot geen voorbijgangers en dus rustig gelegen, dicht bij het strand. Gewoon meer dan goed. Sfeervolle verlichting 's avonds. ❤️❤️❤️
Wij hadden het geluk dat we blijkbaar douchen als anderen of nog slapen of nog weg waren. Anders moet je mee in de wachtrij en die durfde wel op te lopen. Aan het gedrag van andere kampeerders kan je als camping weinig veranderen... Algemene regels die gelden zoals even de douche proper maken of de toiletborstel hanteren zou standaard aanwezig moeten zijn bij de gasten. Alles is hiervoor voorzien maar jammer genoeg weet niet iedereen hoe het te gebruiken. 🤷🏼♀️

Review of the campsite
We stayed two nights here and enjoyed access to the gorgeous beach. We took s lovely boat trip around the 7 Islands and ate in a couple of lovely (but pricey) places along the seafront.
Staff at the campsite are super friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers all clean.
We loved it here and would recommend it.
The pitches at sea level are quite crowded (our visit was in peak season) so if you want something quieter go uphill a little. Several level terraced pitches are set a bit higher and are lovely.

Location was great.
Good warm welcome.
Cleanliness needs improving. Showers and toilets were always dirty.
Saw two guys “clean” - by just hosing the whole cubicle down. No actual cleaning happened. Bins in the disabled toilets were not emptied during the two days we were there.
No toilet roll or toilet seat in the disabled either.

Lovely relaxed site. Very laid back
In a fabulous location. 2 minutes from beach and short walk to bars, restaurants and shops. A 15 minute walk into town. Don't miss the market it's amazing.

As the site was quiet we could choose the pitch for our campervan. Trees gave great protection from the wind and the pitch felt quite private
Some local facilities (eg bakery) were not yet open but that’s not the campsite’s fault
Establishment response
Thank you for your comments. There is a bread corner in the local supermarket with fresh bread, open all year around, from early in the morning until late at night, 7 days a week. Bakery is only opened in July & August. :)

Brilliant location for visiting Amboise(15minute walk)
Excellent pitch sizes(motorhome)
Shower and toilet good, hot water and clean showers.
Major concern about the motorhome service area. The drinking water and black rinse tap are on the same branch 150mm apart, I saw people using the fresh water tap to rinse the cassette, typhoid waiting to happen
