Welcome to Camping Ca' Savio! A campsite directly by the sea, only 30 minutes from Venice and the islands of the lagoon. Camping Ca' Savio was founded in 1959 and is constantly evolving, with the aim of satisfying its guests, offering them an open-air holiday, in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, suitable for adults and children. At campsite Ca'Savio you can enjoy the sea, stroll along the beach, sunbathe by the pool and why not take a trip into the surrounding area and visit the unique city of Venice.

Review of the campsite

De camping plekken zijn erg ruim met veel schaduw. Dat is echt een top punt gezien het warme weer. Voor kinderen zijn er 2 zwembaden die vrij vooraan de camping te vinden zijn. Het strand is ook zeer dichtbij, de “duinen” door en je staat op het strand. Als je met kinderen komt, is er animatie aanwezig. Ook is er op het strand een paviljoen waar iedere dinsdag en vrijdag live muziek is en waar je kan eten.

Het sanitair is echt aan een verbouwing toe. Het is oud en het oogt vies, ook al lopen er de hele dag schoonmakers rond. De douche en toilet zitten bij elkaar in het hokje. In theorie lijkt dit ideaal, maar in de praktijk laat dit de wensen over. Als je gaat douchen, wordt de wc helemaal nat omdat het zo’n klein hok is. Echter zijn er wel voldoende hokjes aanwezig, waardoor er (bijna) nooit een wachtrij is.

Review of the campsite

De entree (voor auto’s met caravans etc.) is ruim. De receptie is tevens ruim en modern. De camping heeft 2 mooie zwembaden met genoeg vermaak voor jong en oud. De camping winkel is een volwaardige klein tot middelgrote supermarkt. Het strand is direct vanaf de camping bereikbaar. De camping is dusdanig groot dat vanaf onze kampeerplek op de bijna laatste straat het ongeveer 12-15 min. lopen was naar het begin (receptie/parkeerplaats) van de camping. Een half uurtje heen en terug! Toilet gebouw was daarmee ook niet dichtbij met 5-7 min. lopen. Wij vinden deze camping daarom te groot.

Kleinere toiletgebouwen meer verspreid over de camping.
