Lovely stay
Review of the campsite
Quiet, even in high season. Lovely staff, always a pleasant welcome at reception. They were very accommodating with our booking, giving us 3 adjacent pitches with our son and his family on one side and our daughter and her family on the other.
Friendly bar staff and a good choice at the restaurant at sensible prices. Delightful desserts.
The swimming pool was perfect for all the children (we had 6 in total)
Just over a mile to the beach, but ponies and forest just around the corner. Feeling forest and Dino's park 10 mins by car.
No negatives at all

The swimming pools and overall facilities were a massive hit with both adults and children. The pitches were excellent and and the office were very helpful at the time of booking, putting 2 pitches together for us and the other family we were holidaying with.

Enough electric power to more than satisfy our needs, euro plug needed and reverse polarity converter. Flat pitch of a good size. Easy to 'hook up' to drainage and water. Pitches separated by either trees or hedge. Ours had access to a good satellite signal

The space, the trees around and felt very secluded where we were. Brilliant having 2 pitches next to each other for us and the second family. Having water on the pitch was also extremely helpful
Stayed with friends and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would have loved an extra couple of days. All the staff we met were excellent! Very helpful, polite and friendly. The pool area is immaculate with plenty of sunbeds so need to do the morning towel dash! The shower/toilet blocks were kept really clean all day and plenty of them. Didn’t have to wait for a shower the whole week!
Overall a fantastic stay and would definitely return!

I love La Yole!
Review of the campsite
Our family have been coming to La Yole for decades! Family friendly. Excellent campsite, excellent staff, every single one of them! Lots to do for every age group, babies, children, teenagers, adults and older. Our large family has every age group, and we all thoroughly enjoy our stay. All the staff will go the extra mile to help. And we have needed help on a few occasions. I thoroughly recommend this campsite. Lovely clubhouse/restaurant with brilliant staff too. I wish we could come and stay more often.
Clean, tidy, everything you need is available. A lovely little welcome box, just in case you forgot the odd essential. We decided to stay in a mobile home this time (as we are getting older), but we have also stayed in their tents which are also well equipped, very comfortable and more spacious.

We love the site and area. The site is welcoming and safe for our children, everyone is friendly. Our Moblie was lovely, clean and well equipped for our stay. This was our 7th visit in a row so that says it all really.
This was a new mobile on the pitch F05, it was lovely, well equipped, a cover over the decking would be a bonus. A very nice mobile.

The staff are very friendly and informative. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We will certainly be back again, which will be our fifth visit.
Our only criticism would be that the supermarket could be open when there are holidaymakers staying on the site. We couldn’t just pop down the shop for a couple of essentials.

Chilling Out at La Yole

Cleanliness, the Swimming Pool, the bar, restaurant and evening entertainment. The welcome and friendliness of all the staff family.
The tarmac around the entrance to the pool could do with being looked at. There are also many stones on the pool side of the footbaths despite the footbath and shoe stowage. Some of the poolside slabs were uneven and moved on footfall.
Could not find a location for emptying 'grey water', so used the grey water drainage at the caravan service area..

Pitch was clean and tidy on arrival. The pitch did slope towards the rear of the pitch and I needed to have the caravan feet on full extension. It was a joy to discover that the pitch was fully serviced (which included 'grey water' disposal), sadly I was not aware that this was available prior to arrival and therefore did not bring my extended waste water pipes
It was lovely sharing neighbours from many different nationalities, which added to a very rich and greatly enjoyable vacation.
No, we enjoyed a fantastic 2 weeks on a fabulous site, well run, fun filled and very friendly. Thank you so much and hopefully see you again very soon!

The weather, the pace of life, the calmer campsite (there’s stuff to do, but it’s not over facing or loud as in other local campsites), the pool, the facilities
We thought it a little strange that you can drink alcohol by the pool but you can’t eat an ice cream. The pool rules seemed arbitrarily applied.

Return trip and it didn’t disappoint

We came to La Yole in 2023 and the children insisted on a return trip, because of a road accident we were unable to come in 2024 but this year (2025) was even better, the weather helped! An amazing holiday destination.
The boys would like bigger pool slides! 😄

The services although I might suggest you sell waste pipe in the camp shop. The distance to the drain can be challenging.
I was, this year, on a very bare and sand emplacement. I would have preferred more grass but that would require more rain so I’ll take what I got.
