Great site and friendly staff with excellent facilities
No Bus Service to town but wasn’t to much of a problem as it was only a 40 minute walk down the coast road and it was a nice day, but it wouldn’t be pleasant if raining. It cost €30 in a taxi, but if you have a bike it’s a nice ride. Would definitely benefit from having a bus service. That’s the only negative.

Probably not the right place for us!
Review of the campsite
Good location. Handy for cycle paths. All the staff we encountered were polite and friendly.
Would be helpful to have somewhere to dispose of grey waste water. Pitches not very long - only just managed to get our 7m motorhome on!
Sanitary facilities were not very clean and showers were small, especially due to the doors opening inwards!
Noisy until late at night/ early hours.

Very little! Don’t know why it warranted a 5 star rating!?
Badly maintained site, the staff just zoomed around on their golf buggy, but the pitches were scruffy and not trimmed, considering it was at the beginning of the season,not the end! Example: after one evening, there was some vomit on the main pathway leading to the bar and shop, but it was never cleaned and remained there for two days until the rain washed it away on day 3!I asked if I could move to my neighboring pitch as a tree was blocking my sat-dish, was told someone has already booked and pay for that pitch already, but no one arrived, so was lied to by the Portuguese man at reception!

Staff not flexible, had asked if I could move to the next pitch as a tree was blocking my sat dish. But was told someone had booked and paid for that one already. But during our four day stay, no one turned up, and was still empty when we left. So the Portuguese man a reception clearly lied to me! Even if he had explained that I needed to pay more, or ACSI customers are not allocated those, but don’t make something up and lie!!
