Excellent camping, amazing pools, the restaurant is really good and fare prices. D9rect acces to the beach whicj wasn't too packed either. The movile home we had was quite roomy compared to other places we've been, with nets against mosquitoes. Dog friendly We wouod repeat
A bit noisy in the evenings. The pool with slides needa a bit more control. When teenagers and young adults came there is very little room for smaller kids, and as parents it became a bit unsafe sometimes and we ended up leaving the pool.

Pity, there were not a few more things furnished in units… You are asked to leave them clean, but no cloths or cleaning products… You cannot stay there if you fly, as no linen either bedroom or kitchen supplied.. could have rental as a option…

The Reception staff were outstanding. So friendly and efficient,
The swimming pools were varied and large.
Lovely Hammam and SPA.
The Beach was good and the Campsite had a natural feel about it with lots of trees, plants and shade.
How about keeping the restaurant and Tapas bar open until the closure of the campsite?
It's disappointing to arrive for a week and be told everything is closing 😕

The Bungalow was spotlessly clean and well equipped.
Good shower and hot water.
The verandah was large and there was a big table and chairs
Nice drying rack.
The Toilet was tiny ....really small.
The beds were very uncomfortable
Barbecues we're advertised as available to rent. What we got was a small electric hot plate with no stand and it did not work. We took it back to the shop and asked for our money back. The lady in the shop shook it about and eventually got it to work and refused to refund our money. Very poor service. They were not in the slightest bit interested in us or our complaint about the fact that the device was defective. For this reason we will not return or recommend Camping Palais La Mer.

Lovely campsite with a beautiful beach!
Review of the campsite
Our pitch was very close to the beach. There was a bin on our pitch which was emptied daily. The toilet/shower blocks were excellent. The beach - beautiful. Pool area looked nice but didn't use it as so near to the beach.
Onsite shop is expensive and not very big for the size of the site. Walk to beach is difficult for disabled people as soft sand - wheelchairs would find this impossible - would benefit from a wooden boardwalk so more accessible. Pitch was advertised as having water - there were two rusty taps with brown water.

This campsite is not very big but very well taken care of. The people that work there are very nice and approachable. The mobil-homes have their own terrace and also a sunscreen, important when it is hot. And personally I like the murals very much.
Ik liked the new fridge with a seperate freezer. Also the new furnace with automatic ignition of the gas. The ‘living-room’ was a bit smallish; when all the chairs were inside it was a bit difficult to open some doors. So I put two of the chairs outside and had more space inside.
I missed a little bit the sofa inside, but on the other hand there was a nice lounge-set outside.

Nice pool.
Easy access to beach.
Planting eg bamboo, could be cut back. Site looks and feels a bit overgrown.

Pitch was half way between pool and beach and close to sanitary block.
Although we booked in advance we were allocated one of the 4/5 worst pitches in that privacy was poor because it was directly on the main road through the site.
We were affected quite seriously by mosquitoes.

Attention la végétations c est top mais trop ça peu nuire
Emplacement beaucoup beaucoup trop sombre, envahie côté cuisine et toilette par végétations et donc par humidité et moustiques. La lumiere s impose meme à 11h du matin. Fort dommage. Nous sommes partis vendredi ald samedi car j avais 20 piqures en restant sur la terrasse. Des que j etais sur la route devant au soleil c etait mieux....Tailler, laisser entrer le soleil. Manque possibilité fermer terrasse quand on a des chiens

een fijne camping met oud Frans karakter en een vriendelijk welwillend team wat ten alle tijden bereid is tot meedenken en oplossingsgericht is

we hadden een mooi plekje op deze camping maar de oppervlakte was wel iets te krap.
echter dankzij meedenken én hulp werd dit (luxe) probleem snel opgelost waardoor wij werkelijk onze gehele vakantie genoten hebben van onze standplaats, de sfeer op de camping etc.
