Camping La Sirène
*****
Ideally situated in Argeles sur Mer, between the sea and the mountains all 16 hectares of this holiday village is an oasis of verdure.
At just 900 meters from the beach and just a short drive from the Spanish border, La Sirene has been making holiday makers happy since 1964.
An unrivaled family adventure: our 5-star stay at Camping La Sirène
A premium family stay blending luxury, high-energy adventure, and shared magic
XXL Water Park: Access to one of the largest water parks in France and a wide variety of activities (aqua aerobics, Pilates, and the highly popular Battle Archery for teenagers).
On-Site Leisure and Gastronomy: A complete offering featuring three themed restaurants and high-qualityevening entertainment (magic shows, musicals, and a Pub Lounge).
Family Adventures: Thrilling highlights shared together, such as sea kayaking excursions, electric mountain bike rides, and introductory diving lessons.
Perfect Parent-Child Balance: Teenagers enjoy a dynamic club while parents escape for cultural visits, such as wine tasting in Banyuls.
First impressions: ultra-modern luxury and a clever twin-camping advantage
With our teenagers aged 12 and 14
In the summer of 2025, we stayed with our 12 and 14-year-old children at Camping La Sirène, a true institution in Argelès-sur-Mer. We chose a high-end accommodation option: a prestige lodge featuring a massive terrace of about 40 m², an outdoor summer kitchen equipped with a plancha and a sink, and a beautiful set of garden furniture. Thanks to the surrounding lush vegetation, the terrace was completely enclosed with absolutely no overlooked views. We had never seen mobile homes so modern and recent! It was truly a delightful setup.
Upon booking, the team had informed us that we would enjoy full access to all the activities and services offered by both Camping La Sirène and its neighbor, Camping de l’Hippocampe. At La Sirène, this meant access to incredible services: the entertainment programs, the teens' club, the Sirène Arena with its performance stage, and the immense water park.
A water park paradise and thrilling teen adventures
In fact, the children chose this campsite specifically for its water park, which is one of the largest in the region—and perhaps in all of France for a campsite. It is truly massive, boasting numerous different pools, including one dedicated strictly to adults, large waterslides like the Space Hole, and fun water games.
Our teenagers thoroughly enjoyed the teens' club. It gave them the chance to participate in sports tournaments with the other young people at the campsite, share a private barbecue evening together, and organize a Battle Archery match—a unique sort of paintball played with bows and arrows! This was an unusual activity they had never tried before, and it was completely approved and loved by our children.
A perfect balance: quality time for parents and varied dining
The reception desk recommended a few excursions, notably Les Templiers in Banyuls-sur-Mer to visit a cellar with breathtaking views over the region's beautiful vineyards. The visit included a wine tasting, and we absolutely loved sharing this special moment as a couple while the children were having a blast at the club. Additionally, we also took advantage of a few aqua aerobics and Pilates sessions held at the neighboring Camping l’Hippocampe.
We were easily able to spend a few days without ever leaving the campsite, as it features a grocery store and three distinct restaurants. These include a Thai restaurant located at L’Hippocampe, the Sirène Beach—where you can eat with your feet in the sand overlooking the pool—and Josette et Claude, the third restaurant, which serves delicious Italian cuisine. There is truly a choice to satisfy everyone!
Spectacular evenings and after-hours fun
Each evening, the campsite came alive with spectacular, professional-grade entertainment, from live concerts to full-scale musicals featuring talented artists. We loved the magic shows, especially the dinner-show experience where we enjoyed a great meal with a perfect view of the stage before the main illusions began. Once the curtains closed, our teenagers headed straight for the Pub Lounge's dance floor to wrap up their night—the perfect setup since they had no intention of keeping our early bedtime!
Unforgettable family sports tournaments and marine discoveries
We also shared some magnificent family moments. One day, we rented mountain bikes from an on-site partner: electric models for us and classic ones for the kids. It was the perfect opportunity to visit the surrounding beaches, like Plage du Racou and Plage de l’Ouille, and explore the landscapes in a sporty way!
The children also wanted to try a sea kayaking excursion supervised by an instructor. Since we went to the beach often, we did it all together one day. The experience was magnificent; the viewpoints looking out over the mountains and the Mediterranean are truly worth it, though you must make sure to protect yourself well from the sun!
Finally, the campsite also features its own diving club. They offer introductory diving lessons—first a trial run in the swimming pool, followed by a boat trip out to a diving spot to discover the seabed. It was a suspended, unforgettable moment for the entire family!
Conclusion: the perfect family getaway we can’t wait to relive
In conclusion, this campsite feels like a real little village where the entire animation team and staff are pleasant and deeply attentive. The children still remember their counselors and talk about them regularly. It was a more than successful holiday! We will return without hesitation and with great pleasure.

Disappointing
Review of the campsite
The new pool features are great.
Sun loungers are needed, queues are just to long, the music is so loud, the shows are always so busy, the food prices on site are ridiculous. Despite setting an alarm for 1pm daily I never got on the morning gym or activities on the app as the second it turned 1pm they were magically full
The ant infestation
It was cramped
The quilts were smelly on arrival
The shower leaked everywhere
The noise from the djs thumped through the entire lodge from 9am till midnight daily.

Fab holiday at La Sirene
Review of the campsite
Lovely tropical grounds, great accommodation and well run park with fab slides and pool area - liked the no sunbeds and beach bar
Still cars on pedestrian paths with isn’t ideal
Accommodation review - Lodge 3 Prestige- Pedestrian District (3 bedrooms, 40m², 2 bathrooms) terrace, airconditioning, TV
Living area, two bathrooms and outdoor space with BBQ
Bedroom a little small to get around.
A fold away bed in the children’s room would be good

Great holiday
Review of the campsite
La Sirene campsite was brilliant, the family enjoyed every aspect of. Will definitely be returning. Very clean complex, staff were all very polite and friendly, pool area always clean,
Bus and taxi services weren’t great, but that wasn’t due to the campsite
Very modern and clean, I liked they provided the pillow and mattress protectors.
Contents of the welcome pack wasn’t very big.

Review of the campsite
First holiday like this we really enjoyed it. Would like to return again one day.
Night time pool parties and some of the they things that stop on 1st September could still be continued on at beginning of September as was still busy. Also the trampoline adventure near the kids club was not working the whole time we were there which the children were disappointed with.
More sports for adult men
Could be some space to put away groceries as there was no cupboard free for this. Would have liked an oven and toaster

A great family holiday
Review of the campsite
The pool complex which was large enough to cope with lots of people and we really enjoyed the variety of the pools and especially the assault courses with the nets, climbing walls around the edges etc
Sine there was no oven in the accommodation, we would have liked to have cooked on the plancha grill more often but the meat section of the shop was too small and had very little availability which meant that we could not do that. That made finding dinner options difficult.
The rooms were a little small and the pillows were not the most comfortable. The pillow and mattress protectors were so thin and flimsy that they didn’t seem useful for purpose. We had ants coming through the ceiling so had to use gaffer tape to block the hole. It would have been useful to have a sink to wash hands in the toilet as well as the bathroom. The indoor seating area was also a bit too small for four of us.

Excellent stay with superb swimming facilities
Review of the campsite
The pool was amazing,
Would be great if there was a more relaxed dining area away from the really busy central area
Very good size and lots of storage and communal space.
Fridge Freezer was off on arrival, and no instructions for how to turn it on. This was a stressful start to the holiday as we had just returned from the supermarket with lots of food. The Pitch was quite exposed without much privacy and limited space for a large car

Review of the campsite
The site is well managed with friendly staff. The groundsmen work exceptionally hard to keep it looking fabulous and clean. The facilities were also great, the new additions of the water park and slides was fab. The sister site over the road was also great and much more suited if you wanted a calmer and less busy vibe. My kids preferred and loved this pool. Again, it was well maintained. The supermarket was fab and the bakery and ice cream shop was a daily hit!!
The seating area for the shows is inadequate, even when u arrive early it’s manic and people were claiming seats which were empty and becoming aggressive and rude if you sat on them as “ they are reserved”. I found a lot to be quite selfish which resulted in a lot of young children missing out and families stressed. It’s too small for the amount of guests and badly organised and managed. Some guidance is very much needed and some fairness so everyone can enjoy the show! Secondly, the reception staff sadly gave me wrong info which meant waiting over an hour for a train that didn’t come.
It was a great size, ample space and the outdoor area was fab.
On arrival it wasn’t as clean as expected, I since learnt that previous guests do the clean if a cleaning option isn’t booked. Some may care more about others ensuring they come into a clean cabin but sadly I felt ours didn’t. I brought products and cleaned top to bottom before leaving and a staff member “checked” suitability. I use this lightly because it was a quick look so I’m not surprised ours was dirty on arrival. The wardrobe door was also broken and the floor and chairs were visibly stained. The shower screens were also full of dirt and soap marks etc
