Very happy with accommodation. Nice location near the lake. Well-equipped and clean.

I would have expected a better stocked shop, but perhaps this was because we were at the end of the season. It would have been helpful to have a EV charging point.

The restaurant is only a bistro, really. We were also surprised, as there was no castle (we've been to a couple of other Les Castels sites, and all of them were actual castles)

Improve pitch size. Our pitch was supposed to be large but we were squeezed in with no defined borders, people walking through the pitch and washing hanging across a ‘supposed’ border. No privacy at all. Inadequate pitch for the size of our caravan and high cost of it. Inadequate room for parking for adjacent pitches meant cars parked on our pitch on arrival. Too noisy with far too many children running around and on bikes.

Nice location. The little building where the bbq was, was a surprise.

I was expecting to swim in the little lake. There I was misguided. The pool is to small for the camping site. In entrance of the pool is messy wirh all those slippers. 5 stars, ok but for every activity you had to pay extra. You had to pay for Wifi.

We found this site well situated a short cycle from the Loire. Our pitch was well sized with sun for part of the day. I did note many pitches were entirely shaded which would only have been beneficial in scorching weather. The showers were excellent, powerful with hot water. Washing up facilities were poor, there were only 4 sinks squashed into a tiny space with no room to move. The whole campsite had a tired feel and was in need of updating.

The pool needs area needs improving for the size of the campsite with better slides. The restaurant was very poor quality and the food awful. I would recommend avoiding.

Relaxed atmosphere of the site and the well portioned pitches with plenty of shade. Lots of facilities- pools, the bar, fishing lake, and kayaking lake. A well looked after site with polite, helpful staff.

Maybe a few more toilets and dish washing facilities. Sometimes a queue and the water wasn’t always hot for washing up. A more extensive shop on site. There aren’t any easily walkable shops so reliant on car. A freezer to freeze ice packs would be good.

Beautiful camping: green, nice atmosphere and sports pitches like soccer, tennis, table tennis and swimming.

Swimmingpool is closed at 19.30pm, that is too early in summertime.

A very pleasant site with easy access to many local places worth visiting and sufficient on-site activities to keep us busy on days when we didn't want to travel. The cost was very reasonable and, given the high quality of the site and welcoming staff, we would certainly consider returning again in future.

One thing that could be improved would be to have an on-site shop for the basics: bread, milk, eggs, bacon, an onion or two, that sort of thing. There was a daily bread/croissant ordering service which we used and worked well, but to have the ability to drop in and get a few things for a meal would be nice and save having to rush out to the local hypermarche for little things.

Although we are a senior couple and were only there for three nights, we enjoyed the way that the site is laid out and walking around the lakes. We thought that we would have liked to visit with our children and grandchildren because of the many activities available
