A good site with very good facilities, next to a super beach. Nice and close to town and a Super U.
I don't know if it was because it's near the end of the season but the staff seemed a little jaded, also the bar had lost some of its oomph from our last visit in 2024.

La falaise has its own individual identity, it's not part of a large chain of "branded" campsites, and is far better for it. Also we like the absence of a kids club.
Can't think of any.

Beside the beach, supermarket, town, convenient board walk. Good size pitches
Move the fresh water tap away fron the black/grey water servic area, before someone gets seriously ill from sewage contamination, because Ideots are using this hose to wash out their cassett and the dumping drain. ( I observed a Guy using the hose and a stick to unblock the black water drain) the day I left the grey water area was backed up with sewage and the hose lying on the ground.
REMOVE THE HOSE.

Fine on a good day, but in very bad condition,
Not level not enough drainage, no trap under the taps.
The guy in the next pitch was useing an industrial hammer action drill at 9.am to drill 25mn600mm holes over his site to clear the standing water.

Delightful little site

Facilities were clean, Food in bar/cafe was good. Lovely little town within walking distance and lots of bike rides available. The staff were very helpful and put up with our schoolboy French. The site was quiet with clean covered swimming pool.
Mens' urinals were outside and could be smelt when sitting in the bar. They need fencing off or enclosing as they smell bad.

The opportunity to leave the site earlier than 7am for travelling to Caen for early morning ferry.

The only issues is the clothes dryer is not great.

Fabulous site!
Review of the campsite
Everything was perfect. First of all the staff who are so friendly, pleasant & extremely hard working which contributes to this being such a fabulous site. The location is wonderful on the beach. The site is calm. The cleanliness is 10/10. The site is in a good location to visit other areas. Close to a brilliant supermarket. La Turballe is such a pretty place & so many good places to eat & drink. Lovely pattisseries & shops.

The size of the pitch was perfect for our tent & car. It was very tidy. We like the sunshine so we found this pitch very open & not shady. Just a short walk onto the beach which was perfect & close to all facilities on the site.
