Our family campsite Lou Bourstaricq is only 2 kilometres from the lake of Sanguinet. Enjoy relaxing on the beaches of Lake Sanguinet or water activities for the more active.
Very well located, our 4 star campsite is in the heart of the Landes and the pine trees. Count on less than 30 minutes to reach Biscarrosse, the Arcachon basin or the Dune du Pilat.

Review of the campsite
The site is so great for kids we felt so safe with our 3 kids cycling around and playing in the parks. The pool facilities are great and the proximity to the lake is unreal. We ate on site a couple of times and also used the pizzeria which was also fantastic.
We had one of the new premium cabins are it was REALLY nice, spacious enough for 6 of us and the air conditioning was a dream.
The 2nd week of our stay wasn't as good as our first week. The season came to a very obvious end so in the 2nd week we experienced a lot of things closed, the site was very quiet and not much to do. Whilst we understand why services massively reduced, we didn't know this would happen so was a bit disappointing.
The only other tiny gripe is the paving around certain areas of the pool. It's really bumpy stones and it's not nice to walk on in bare feet!

Accommodation review - Premium - 3 bedrooms
Accommodation was pretty much perfect. The cabin was beautifully designed, really well appointed with dishwasher etc. The air conditioning was great to have.
It's a bit odd that the premium cabins aren't super close to where you park your car. It's nice being in a pedestrian area but a bit of a pain when loading and unloading on arrival / departure. Sort of makes it slightly less premium having to lug all your stuff from the car park.
Only other thing I'd say is to add a BBQ area to the premium lodge area. Again, a bit of a pain having to walk quite far and made it feel less premium.

Twee wc van de zes, waaronder 1 kind wc, de achter riool buis eruit gepopt en later weer geducktaped. Na 20:30 hadden wij meerdere malen geen warm water. Ook niet voor de afwas. Wij hopen dat het in de winter wordt vervangen. Ook overal schimmel. Het was huis stond ook vrij ver van de kampeer plekken af, tussen de huisjes
Camping had wel een goede animatie die elke avond erg laat doorging. Huisregels staat andere dingen in over rust op de camping.

Grote kampeer plekken. Voor caravan( hebben geen grote) en twee tentjes. Het meer was goed bereikbaar via het bos.

Je ne vois pas , car cela fait la 7em fois en 20 ans que nous passons des vacances au camping lou broustaric et c’est toujours un plaisirs , une évolution et amélioration constante !

Mobil-home très bien pensé avec des étagères et des miroirs un petit peu partout. Le top c'est d'avoir des volets roulants.
Le côté négatif de ce mobil-home c'est d'avoir sur la terrasse table en bois et des bancs une semaine sur des bancs c'est un peu long
