Fabulous site and so peaceful

Great location, big pitches with mature hedges all around giving excellent privacy. Also great washrooms with space and good showers. We love this site, will try to return and spend more time exploring the area.

Good Pitch size, location, privacy on your pitch, very quiet

Facilities dated but spotless. A bigger washing machine as 6kgs is quite small.

Big pitch, easy connection to water and electric. Flat too, so levelling ramps not needed.

A very quiet site, good for a stop over, basic but clean facilities.

We were in motor home, we had choice of many pitches so we’re able to choose a flat one, the site was very quiet.

Wonderful clean campsite

Only had one night stay, but the pitches were secluded and shaded. Toilet and shower facilities were spotless with plenty of hot water. Lovely quiet peaceful stay, owners were kind and very helpful.

Good sized pitches. Lovely clean toilets and showers. MH service, fresh water, grey and black waste.

We were given the option to choose our own pitch which was great for us as we were towing a trailer and wanted a large pitch.

Lovely

The view over the ponds is nice, and the campsite itself is also beautiful. Everything on the campsite was clean, the playground is new and modern. The staff of the campsite was very friendly and very helpful. The lady who welcomed us speaks sufficient English.

The location of the campsite is quite remote. It´s a 10-15 minute drive to the supermarket, many tourist sights are as far or further away from the campsite.

Accommodation review - Savanah 2 rooms (business tourism special condition: one person per room)

Everything in our chalet worked, it was modern and clean. When the gas tank was empty, it was quickly replaced.

There are no tilt windows, which we found a little scary with a 2-year-old.

Good overnight stop

Reception was friendly and helpful. We had a choice of pitches, all of which were well kept. It was very hot and we were able to choose a pitch with some shade. The decor in main toilet block is a little dated, but the facilities are clean and well kept. The site WiFi is excellent.

Zeer fijne en rustige camping vlak bij Parijs

Hele vriendelijke ontvangst door eigenaren, grote percelen met schaduw, rustig en idyllisch gelegen naast een meer. Schoon sanitair. Op een paar km van het trein station naar Parijs. Food truck. Brood in ochtend.

The Hidden Gem!

The layout of the site plenty of room on pitch with privacy. washing facilities very clean, good showers. Would definitely recommend to friends as a base for region and very convenient to commute to Paris by train which takes less than an hour from maintenon. The village is well served with shops/cafes. The site had a few cyclists and the reception had suggested routes. Order you pastries/baguettes the night before. Really liked the ease of booking in, very helpful with information. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay and a very well laid out site.

The size could be classed as 5 star plenty of space for campervan and then lounge chairs and bbq

Lovely big pitches you could choose yourself, trees for shade and relaxed feel. Very helpful on reception.

Nothing really. Perhaps more information about the area?

Lovely level pitch with shade, space and water tap. Easy to access and could pitch how we liked. Loved the wild flowers too rather than cut grass. Lovely variety of trees.

Had difficulty finding the chemical toilet disposal point!

Grote plaatsen, veel begroeiing, aardige eigenaren die zowel Engels als Duits spreken. Goede Wifi, Douche en toiletten zeer eenvoudig maar heel schoon en goede waterdruk. Dichtbij (15 min) station met connecties naar Parijs, Chartres en Le Mans. Aldaar gratis parkeren.

Het is een hele stille camping, daar moet je van houden. Prima voor rustzoekers .

Grote plek omgeven door struiken. Diverse plekken met bomen.

Er was te weinig stroom voor mijn volledig elektrische caravan.
