Friendly and relaxed campsite!!

Review of the campsite

Wonderfully friendly hosts at this lovely site! Nothing is too much trouble and the welcome is very warm! Food is very good and the site facilities are always clean. Pitches are very generous and shaded (levellers recommended due to some sloping). Plenty of water points and a lovely pool area. We have friends nearby so it’s a real win for us but location is good for Montignac and Vézère (all short drive). Very few British so we can truly feel we are away from home and immerse ourselves amongst French families!

Not something that the site owners can control - Care needed when turning in the access road and pity a bus doesn’t stop by the main road, but we will continue to love the site as it is!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Hidden Gem – Highly Recommended! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Camping Le Verdoyant! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the incredibly friendly and approachable owner, who goes above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome. His warm hospitality truly sets the tone for the entire campsite. The swimming pool is a real highlight – clean, refreshing, and perfect for both kids and adults to relax and enjoy the sunshine. After a day of exploring, it was the ideal spot to unwind. The on-site restaurant is a delightful surprise! The food is delicious.
