La Bahamas Beach is our favorite site and we have stayed here for about 10 years now. The team are always friendly and helpful, the pitches are a good size and private due to hedges around them. The camp facilities are good, and it's location is perfect for both town and beach. There is also a great cycle path just outside which follows the nearby river.
The small bed of plants near to the laverie was overgrown with weeds - the first thing that you see when you enter the site. The Neptune shower facility is in need of upgrading. Despite being cleaned regularly, there was always a faint background odour,although we were in a heatwave, which may have caused this. Most of the time, the showers were only lukewarm. The Etoile shower block showers were far better.

.wonderful position which we paid extra to book
Having stayed on 3 previous occasions unfortunately this time the staff on reception when we arrived were not able to speak as much English as in the past. Having to check an itinerary, where items were missing was a little challenging. Also giving us a form to complete in French not English was a simple thing which would have been better customer service had we not had to ask for it changing.

Hedges on three sides, close to water supply. Good shade from trees in the heatwave.
The pitch was only just big enough for our caravan. Unfortunately the larger pitches were unavailable due to some work going on at the end of June. This was unfortunate, but we were recompensed for the inconvenience.

The new pool facilities were a very welcome addition. And the heated indoor pool continues to be kept at a very pleasant temperature. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The takeaway was very good value especially the quantity of chips provided for a very low price.
It would be good to be able to get a normal baguette on site in the morning.

Lovely site great facilities beautiful pools indoor and out great for cycling and a short stroll to the beach
My only complaint is the noise of the toilet and shower doors closing or should I say more like slamming shut it all day long became a little annoying

Chalet seemed brand new. Well equiped.
No grass outside chalet. Just gravel and weeds. Facilities only open at weekends (bar, snack bar). Only saw the shop open once during our stay.
Electricity went off for a morning during our stay and we had no notification of the planned works. No one in reception so had to make a fifteen minute phone call to find out what was going on.

The pool area was nice and the showers were relatively clean with hot water.
Next to good cycle ways and near a nice beach
We arrived to be told that the bar, restaurant and shop was closed all week. When asked you are supplying daily bread was met with no I can walk or cycle to the nearest.

Control the noise that carries on to 2-3 am in mornings and reduce the large groups of unsupervised teenagers who stay.

Close to a water tap, that’s about it
Everything else, paid extra for a quiet pitch but honestly this the loudest site we’ve stayed with large groups of of unsupervised teenagers partying until 2 -3 am, next to a very busy road, toilet block not cleaned enough, for the first 4 days of our stay there wasn’t even hand cleaner. We were so unhappy that we ended up leaving 5 days early and paid again to stay somewhere much nicer.
