Travellers willing to go camping in Split can select from many types of activities during their vacation : Diocletian's palace is among the best preserved roman remains in the world. It is in the western part of the city, close to Park Suma Marjan, which is itself next to the Adriatic sea. Camping Camp Stobreč Split is also set nearby. Tourists can also go to the Riva, which is a the city's main promenade, full of restaurants and bars. Be careful in high season though: it's better to avoid it during the sunnier hours of the day, due to the high temperatures.
