Simply the best campsite ever!
Review of the campsite
This was our second stay at L'Avelanède and it won't be the last. It has a huge variety of pitches, some with ample shade, others for those who prefer wild camping and numerous chalets. The restaurant serves really good food, and a snack bar serves breakfast and light meals and drinks opposite a beautifully kept pool. The owners of the site are so friendly and helpful that you feel part of the family. Incredible hospitality.

Perfect for us.
Review of the campsite
It's a very comfortable site, well organised by friendly staff with a restaurant you should not miss. The food and service are excellent and prices are reasonable. It is ideal for families with small children and is also perfect for elderly campers like us with all the easily accessible amenities. We will be returning next summer.
Could do with more toilets, showers, washing up bays and wash basins (only 4 of each in our block which meant queuing at peak times).

This year our camper van broke down. Fortunately this happened on the campsite and whilst the van was taken away for repair, Thibault provided us with accommodation in one of his chalets with Air Conditioning, king size bed with ensuite and a beautiful view of the meadows. It was pure luxury and when our van was fixed we decided to spend the rest of the holiday in the chalet. Next year, this is where we'll be staying.

We hebben genoten van deze leuke, gezellige camping. De kinderen genoten van het zwembad en de trampoline. Het personeel was vriendelijk.
Alleen jammer dat je het verblijf contant moest betalen. Ook hadden we last van de honden van de eigenaar die los rond liepen.

Missing a few things for an accomodation

The accomodation is really nic and original, the bed are comfy, the camping is quiet but still animated with its swimming pool, pingpong tables and kid's games. Breakfast are super generous and the staff is nice.
The camping is great, the accomodation was really nice, but alothough we were told to bring our bedshits, nothing was said about towels, sponge, toilet paper... I had assumes that as it was an accomodation, at least spponge and toilet paper would be provided. Maybe it would be good to have it precised in the email.

A beautiful campsite run by a beautiful family in beautiful rural Provence. It has everything you could ever wish for.
Accommodation review - Chalet Premium Le Jatyanoé 3 bedrooms
On our second visit to L'Avelanede, our camper-van broke down and we were given a chalet whilst it was being repaired. What luxury from living in a van! Air Conditioning, Fridge/freezer, Dishwasher, King size bed en suite etc. Not surprisingly, we booked this chalet for our third and fourth holidays and will continue to do so for the future.

Le camping est spacieux et calme,l ambiance familiale et le personnel bienveillant, à l' écoute et disponible,nous avons passé un séjour très agréable.Les lacs autour permettent de faire des randonnées,du canoë ou paddle de louer un bateau électrique notamment dans les Gorges du Verdon .
