Superb stay at Camping ile de Boulancourt
Review of the campsite
Absolutely superb stay couldnt fault anything whatsoever. Unfortunately we were involved in a hit and run car accident (not our fault and fortunately no one was injured) Jerome and his team went above and beyond in helping us with organising repairs to our vehicle and we cannot thank them enough, they were excellent.The site is in the most perfectly idyllic situation with easy acces to most of the popular bouldering sites. I/we wouldn't stay anywhere else if we ever visit the forest again.

Tent stay with electric 2 people and dog. Started next to friends and there was plenty of space between us and other campers. Ground was flat and enjoyed being near the water.

Wonderful, very biodiverse campsite!

Wow, we had such an amazing time. From our veranda we spotted several species woodpeckers, oriole, kingfisher and reed bunting. The kids loved the place and we had a very relax time with al the comfort that you wish on a holiday. Thank you very much!
very clean, very complete, and the house was cleaverly accomodated.
we missed hooks to hang up coats, bags and towels. We bought some ourselves and put them in the kitchen for the towels :)

Excellent facilities, friendly staff, great location for local amenities. Great location for bouldering as well. You can hire bouldering mats, buy relevant kit for bouldering, they sell beers, ice cream and snacks. Facilities were clean and well looked after and staff were top notch.
They also had events on the weekend, with food and music.

Very nice campsite, beautiful layed out, very quiet and located in a beautiful environment.
Big and spacious pitches. Nice and friendly owners. Good and new showers without coins. A few days per week there is a food truck. Many nice villages and forests within a 30 min car ride. Dog friendly and also many walkpaths in the surrounding area.
Toilets and showers are heavily used so sometimes a waiting line. Electricity outlets with the cee plugs are ok with 10 amps, the older ones are just 3 A.

Welcoming staff, very useful kitchen with fridge and microwave, large quiet pitches, clean showers/toilets/sinks,.. All good! We also had fun playing table tennis. The campsite is near Buthiers and Elephant sectors for bouldering.
More clarity about recycling options for the two bins in the kitchen.

Happy returning customer since many years
Its the first time for me after many years in Boulangcourt to stay close to the roadside/river.
The toilets are quite far from the pitches here, but most annoying where the church bells that are really really loud at night.
You would expect them not to ring between 10pm and 7am , but they do. Even twice every hour....crazy.
I know it probably takes effort to discuss with the local town, but It would be well worth trying
