The Camping de Barolles is a campsite in France situated half way between Paris and Marseille. The site is located in Saint Genis Laval in the Rhône (69), to the south-west of Lyon (7 km), close to the A7 motorway (approximately 5 km). This location is perfect for exploring Lyon and the surrounding region. The peaceful leafy site offers easy access to the capital of the Gauls as well as many other interesting destinations (Beaujolais, the Monts d'Or, Pérouges, la Bresse, etc.) The centre of Lyon is just 20 minutes away by public transport. The Camping des Barolles is a family business created in 1960. Over the years, three generations of the family have managed the site, the philosophy of which is regional authenticity, conviviality and respect for the environment. Today we have a new impetus: maintaining the tradition while at the same time resolutely ensuring that the site moves with the times (sustainable development, welcome, communication, services, etc.). Perfect stay to visit Lyons

Review of the campsite

Great location to walk into lovely village (with fresh market in the square) and catch bus C10 to visit Lyons for the day. Very friendly reception who helped us navigate where to go and gave us a map. Pitches were level and quiet at night (road was only noisy at certain times)

Washing machine token access near the machines versus having to wait for reception to open.

Great campsite for visiting Lyon. We stayed with a camper, 2 times in December. Beautiful surrounding. Warm facilities. Everything you need is available on site. Responsive reception staff.
