Review of the campsite
We enjoyed our stay at this campsite, the pitch was a good size for the camping car. The sanitary facilities are a good size for the site and are kept very clean.
The whole site is in need of a little TLC, trees need to be cut back as they hang quite low (for a camping car). The hedges between pitches also need a trim. Access to the camping car service area is very tight and the area itself is in urgent need of attention. It is impossible to drain your tank here without the waste water being deposited everywhere, we didn't empty! The water filling station is dirty and the water pressure is non existent. For a campsite which prides itself on their service this area needs to be improved.

Lovely little site
Review of the campsite
We liked it's lovely trees and green pitches even if they were a wee bit on a slope. Beautifully cared for. All necessities for motorhome are there and good sanitary block. It has a v nice little resto doing pizza and a coffee bar and lovely pool. Close to the pretty and welcoming town of Meyruies. I had to visit Dr Seewangen ..lovely chap. So helpful + no appointment needed! The pharmacist in the Chemist's was super helpful+ nice, too. Great stop. Well be back...for longer next time.

La place, l’ombre et l’intimité.

L’acceuil , le camping, les emplacements,
Top, l’accés au village , trés bien.
Le village trés vivant.
Nous n’avons pas utilisé la piscine donc pas de commentaire, mais elle est jolie.
Les horaires de nettoyage des sanitaires à revoir le matin car c’est compliqué à partir de 7h.
Sinon c’est propre et il y a du papier dans les toilettes.

Review of the campsite
Met onze fietsclub zijn we inmiddels voor de derde keer neergestreken in Meyrueis. Ditmaal samen op de Camping Le Jardin des Cévennes, op loopafstand van het plaatsje Meyrueis. Een fijne camping van waaruit het prachtig is om ritjes te maken. Het gebied is afwisselend, pittig geaccidenteerd tot iets makkelijker in de Gorges.
De camping wordt gerund door een enthousiast jong gezin. Ze hebben oog voor iedereen. Het sanitair redelijk recent en wordt uitstekend bijgehouden.
Het tijdstip van het schoonmaken van het sanitair en de douches zou ik of vroeger, of veel later doen.
Tussen 8.00 en 8.30 is niet zo handig.

De meeste plekken zijn schaduwrijk, goed onderhouden en er is door middel van hagen een goede afbakening tussen de plekken.
Het hele terrein ligt op een lichte helling dus soms is het zo dat je de tent niet altijd vlak op kan zetten.
Voor campers met level mogelijkheden speelt dit natuurlijk niet zo.
