Wonderously wild and fantastically relaxing!

This campsite is very special. It has the best balance of wildness, space, freedom and comfort. It was 40 degrees when we were there and thank goodness for the swimming pool which kept us all happy and cool! The cafe is a haven of shade and good food. The occasion organised activity like Petone was so much fun and everyone has a laugh! The proprietors could do enough for us :)
Brilliant time- thank you Marie and Max, Alice and Hector, the dog and kittens!
Maybe a few more essentials in for sale in the 'shop'? Bikes for hire? That's all!

The staff, were very welcoming, and surrounding beautiful.
The mole hills outside our chalet. Were huge, and whilst we appreciate they appear over night, these had obviously been there a long time. But the staff have just opened up for a new season, so maybe can attend to it. Would save unnecessary dirt being walked into accommodation.
Had everything you need for a short break. Bed was comfortable, heating was good.
The inside eating area was very cramped. Outside area better, but on a cold day you would be restricted to inside.

A lovely informative welcome.
The pitches are very generous and nicely laid out. All the facilites are kept very clean.
A great pool and bar area.
It is quiet and remote. Lots of thought gone into being kind to the environment.
We would return if we were in the area again.
