Involvement of a dedicated friendly team - nothing was too much to ask and the positive ambience of the site is based on strong relationships between staff and clients and each other

Just to continue renovations of sanitary blocks as has been begun ~ perhaps also to make chemical WCB’s facility more obvious.

Kind helpful owners..lovely people. Isobelle and Xavier work so hard and have the challenges of the weather. I hope they get a rest at the end of the season, but with the farm and family to care for too, I doubt the get much of a break

This year, We missed see evening menus displayed during the day, so we didn’t use the resturant as we needed to shop and plan for our evening meals.

Very friendly atmosphere, bread and croissant morning delivery to your location, beautiful location for long or short walks. Communal meals and BBQs each week are very enjoyable and really help you to meet people. The family and staff running the site are extremely friendly and helpful.

More structured recycling/waste containers.The shop was not yet open when we were there.

Secluded pitch allowing privacy if that is your thing but plenty of public areas to socialise with other guests

Not sure how you would achieve this but cut brambles in the grass is not very conducive to the naturist theme.

We were impressed with the accommodation, restaurant, facilities and friendly owner and staff. The site was generally well maintained and the trees and shrubs resulted in a rural setting.

The use of gravel paths and wooden steps was very appropriate for the setting but the surface around the pool could do with improving.

We enjoyed our stay very much and cannot say enough good things about the staff and owners for how they care for the place and the guests. The pool, the river and the food were all excellent and the location as a base for sightseeing in the region was convenient allowing us to experience the local culture and food whether in the surrounding farmland or in the nearby Pyrenes mountains. We'll plan our next visit and look forward to returning.

Thank you so much to all the staff at the campsite for a wonderful stay. They were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The campsite itself is the best we have stayed at on our extensive travels through Europe and we can't wait to return. Wonderful memories of a wonderful place.

We visited l'Eglantiere several years ago and vowed to return, our recent visit, like the first, did not disappoint. Lovely calm and quiet site amid beautiful surroundings. The domaine is family run and the team work hard to achieve a great experience; with some (entirely optional) group activities including a weekly communal barbeque which provides a convivial opportunity to meet fellow campers from across Europe.

None, please continue to do what you've now done for 39 seasons.

Highlights: communal dinners and BBQ. Walking through the woods and farmland. The charming hosts Xavier & Isabelle who help you meet others in a relaxed way. Maggie the delightful waitress/helper. Beautiful site. Lovely pool. Everything is very special.

Isabelle and Xavier put love and thought into everything they do. They work so hard to ensure that they and their team produce the highest standards. Beautiful, cared for setting. Can’t fault it.

We loved the huge space at l'Eglantière and being able to walk clothes-free around the site, by the river, in the woods and meadows. It was very early in the season so very quiet and the shop & some activities had not begun, but the bar and restaurant were excellent. Fresh bread and pastries were delivered to our chalet every morning!

Some of the paths were difficult to follow in the woods, so some arrows or waymarkers would be useful.
