Campsite Mas de la Cam, a property of 65 hectares, is situated at the border of the National Cevennes Park, a protected area, and all has been done to keep the campsite as original and natural as possible. At the entrance you’ll find the “mas” which gave its name to the campsite: it is a former farmhouse, completely built out of river stones. On the campsite itself you can find a wide variety of trees and bushes; especially in May and June, when most flowers bloom, you’ll believe you’re in a park!

Relaxing Return

Review of the campsite

Having not stayed at the campsite since 2017 it was great to see the relaxing environment had remained. Welcome and Tent pitch was excellent was great to be able to bring our Scottish Terrier.

Leuke camping

Review of the campsite

Een leuke camping met mooi zwembad en goed sanitair. Een eenvoudig winkeltje is aanwezig met de eerste benodigdheden en lekker brood. Erg aardig personeel. Voornamelijk Nederlanders en Fransen op de camping. Het restaurant is prima, niet heel uitgebreid, maar je kunt er goed een hapje eten als je geen zin hebt om te koken.

Echt ouderwets vakantie

Review of the campsite

Fijne plek, duidelijke regels, even wennen aan het simpelere leven maar dat is precies wat vakantie moet zijn. Je eigen bakje of pannetje meenemen als je afhaalfrietjes haalt, een bakkertje in de ochtend in de rij voor croissantjes en flutes met alleen contant geld, de eenvoud zorgde voor rust.

Jammer dat de rivier laag stond, al is dit niet aan de camping te wijten en ik snap ook dat ze het niet vooraf delen.
