As always a great place to stay. Pitch was the same as last year, as requested, with water and electricity. Bar and restaurant excellent and the team are friendly and helpful. Sadly only one visit to the pool due to the weather but it was clean and plenty of sun beds. All in all exactly as expected

Review of the campsite
This is my 5th time staying here. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. It hard to imagine one is staying in a chateau built in the 1400s. The Ausem's family makes you feel like you are at home and the restaurant has an incredible menu with an emphasis on the Perigord.

The campsite is beautifully situated. Nice fishing lakes. We had an empty battery on the day of departure, the staff helped us very well
the facilities are in need of maintenance. The restrooms, swimming pool, soccer field, table tennis tables, etc., are either due for replacement or a thorough overhaul. The shower was cold half the time, and the same story with washing dishes. Nevertheless, we had a great holiday. the animation team was more concerned with themselves than with the children.

The spot had plenty of shade in the hot weather
The site seemed smaller than what we'd booked. It was very difficult to park the car next to our camper. We were also supposed to have a spot with a crane, but that required walking across the neighbor's site and down a slope that was quite dangerous. Ultimately, we couldn't use the crane.

Our pitch, 119, overlooked the field and lake a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by whilst listening to the various animal noise.
To cool off the pool was excellent with plenty of sun and shade.
To finish the day a meal in the excellent restaurant on site, perfect.
Some areas need tidying up and cuttting back.

With the chateau, the lakes, the swimming pools, tennis courts, the views and the layout, this is a lovely site. It has a restaurant in the chateau, a bar with terrace and a well-stocked shop.

Relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings
Review of the campsite
Lovely, reasonably small and very picturesque site in rural surroundings in Perigord Vert. The site has a really relaxed vibe and is safe and friendly for children. Very friendly staff on site too!
Pool areas need a bit of attention, there were quite a few edges sticking up around the outdoor pool, which were really quite dangerous. The indoor pool was dangerous too as it was so murky, it was impossible to see to the bottom.
