Pitches very large but were very muddy due to rain. Hard to keep the pitch clean. However I’m sure it wouldn’t be a problem if the weather was good

Had a lovely stay although the weather broke we had some brilliant cycle rides along the river .

Perfect welcome, best campsite shop we’ve seen in all those used in France including bike hire, board games, books.

Weather!!! No soap near toilets. Hairdryer not working in lashes

This has to be the most beautiful campsite in France. It sits where the river Vezere joins the river Dordogne. Across the river is the medieval village of Limeuil. The campsite is owned and managed be a family that have improved the site year on year and it’s beautifully maintained.

Very well maintained and clean, pool area was beautiful. Bins far enough away from pitches.

Food can be better, very bland flavour, not much choice for non meat eaters especially vegan options. Better grey draining positions (drain constantly blocked). Better positioning for the black waste draining, drain too high for some totes.

The site is idyllic and exactly what I had pictured in my mind before arriving. The staff are fantastic and the whole site is extremely good and well maintained.

There are no hand drying facilities in the main toilets and the sign for the men’s side of the toilets has had its picture worn away.

Friendly staff who go out of their way to help you. combined with large pitches and so many facilities (pool, play areas, trampoline, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, petanque, outside and inside gyms, games room, bar, restaurant, takeaway, well stocked shop, daily fresh bread and croissants, all in a calm picture perfect setting on the banks of the Dordogne.at the confluence of the Vezerre. A small Citroen available to hire by the half day or day. Clean washing facilities.. A real gem!

Beautifully maintained site with clean amenities and a great bar, restaurant and shop. We very much liked that we were given recycling containers to sort our rubbish. Great location and would highly recommend.

As always LPDL was fabulous. The site, the facilities, the on-site food, the surroundings and the team were amazing. Despite unsettled weather this year it didn’t dampen our holiday or our spirits - it is impossible to do so in a spot far is so beautiful. Thank you LPDL team - keep doing what you’re doing and enjoy your well earned winter rest!

Atmosphere, pitches are amazing, landscaping is beautiful, views over the rivervto the village are picture perfect. The bar is so friendly you will always get chatting to someone. It's the best campsite we have been returning for over 10 yrs.

Loved being on the river, the views are spectacular, warm weather and very relaxed calm environment with all facilities you need to just be present and not have to rush around to places.

When we arrive the hire fridges are on the site but they take 24 hr to cool down when turned on. It would be amazing if they could be switched on so we can use them straight away. As we generally have been travelling for 2 days and any food / drinks should be put onto a cold fridge asap after such a long trip.

Once again we had an amazing time staying at the campsite. The facilities were immaculate, food was superb. The staff were always friendly and helpful. As special thanks to Elise and family for finding our lost dog Seamus - we are so grateful for all your help!!
