We spent 6 nights at the site and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of being by the lake. All the staff were approachable and helpful and the site is managed with a respect for the environment. The restaurant was very good value and the pool and facilities kept at an excellent condition regardless of the time of day.

One of the best campsites we’ve ever stayed at

Absolutely stunning campsite. We had a lakeside pitch which was huge (44). The pool area was perfect for families and our children age 3 and 9 loved the slide and splash park area. The parks were great and our kids also loved the trampoline and bouncy castle. We ate at the restaurant one evening and the food was delicious. There was take away available every night which we also had. That was also very tasty. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this site and we will definitely return.
Nothing really but if I had to say 1 thing it would be for the shop to be open longer and to stock a bit more.

We liked the look of the place and the fact that it wasn't densely packed with pitches and accommodation.
It feels like style over substance. I've never known a site in high season (4 stars) not have a café or bar open all day for snacks, lunch, ice creams and drinks. There's so much more the site could be doing. But it's just doing the minimum. The choices for teens is non-existent, probably better aimed at young children. The shop has very few items and considering the restaurant isn't open every night and the takeaway doesn't have a lot of variation, I would expect them to sell more. There aren't many places in the nearby town to buy things either.

Had an enormous pitch with a great view of the lake. Not too far to facilities which were spotless. Pool area very pretty with lovely view. Very wildlife friendly with very noisy frogs in the evening, coypu in the lake, dragonflies, moths, butterflies & bees. Loved it!
Would not have wanted a pitch without a lake view as some were much smaller & very enclosed with no outlook.

We booked four nights for our camping holidays in France Found the site nice and calm, spacious pits, and lots of families having time together.
Refill of soap, toiletpaper etc was inadequate. Toilet paper on three out of six is not a problem when you remember to check before going. Filling hand soap only half to let it run empty again within a day is not an option.
