Review of the campsite
The site is very clean and the staff are so polite. We had breads and pastries baked on site every morning. Its close to the beach and you can hear the sea. The facilities are very clean and tidy. You can cycle form the park around the Island very safely on cycle routes. There was also a free bus which you can catch to various places.

We had a lovely pitch for our motorhome, 2 adults. The pitches are large and well spaced apart, so you do not feel crammed together.

A brilliant campsite located very near to the beach and in a nice quiet part of the island. Good sized pitches with excellent facilities too.
The cleaning schedule of the toilet and shower blocks could be improved and bleach used for the toilet bowls.

Overall the campsite was fantastic.
The site staff were friendly and helpful, from check in through morning coffee service to the BBQ evening they put on. Facilities were clean and plentiful. Our particular pitch was a little exposed (hot on sunny days; windy on others) BUT was only 50 yards from the beach, so who can complain!
A bigger freezer for camper cool packs. It was well used and overflowing most days.

We had one of the pitches equipped with a fridge, small hob, microwave etc. and it was really well appointed. Loved the picnic table which offered some much needed shade. Bathroom facilities were clean. The onsite bakery is brilliant - made use of it every day. Staff were friendly and whilst available if needed, just got on with the day to day tasks. Access to the beach is super easy, and being close to the lighthouse, shops and bars is a real bonus. Great location for exploring the island - and having the bikes available to hire onsite is a definite win. The site is really well thought out.
Only one hand basin in the toilet block? The dryer didn’t work and the soap often ran out. But really, this was the only thing I can call out. It’s a really good site.

Regarding access to the water and the lack of privacy between pitches, we apologize for this inconvenience and will work to improve the comfort of our guests. Regarding the noise, it was caused by the Jazz au Phare festival organized by the city, which lasts a few days with concerts until midnight. After midnight, it was more a nuisance related to the surrounding area, beyond our control, and we sincerely apologize that it disrupted your stay.
