Shady pitch - access to all amenities
The walk to the beach was much longer than 450 metres in my world.
Also, when I arrived at 14:40 hours the staff ignored me and only engaged with me when I said I had a booking. I think there expectation was I should come back later… most odd. Having said that very organised and professional setup

Relaxing stay at Les Dunes
Review of the campsite
Clean pitch for the campervan, with a lot of nice shade from the beautiful trees on site. It’s a small campsite which makes it feel calm and relaxing. Close to the beach and well located on the island that you can reach most villages easily on bike.
The bathroom and toilets were old, smelly and quite dirty. This was a shame, because if they were better the campsite would be really great.

Big pitch for the campervan, plenty of shade from trees above to keep the heat out. Felt nice to be surrounded by the trees and gardens.

Pour la troisième année consécutive, nous avons posé nos valises au Camping des Dunes, et chaque séjour confirme notre enthousiasme. Situé au cœur de l’île, ce camping est idéalement placé pour explorer les alentours à vélo, offrant ainsi des escapades aussi variées que captivantes.
L’un de ses atouts majeurs ? Un équilibre parfait entre ombre et soleil sur certains emplacements, un détail qui fait toute la différence lors des fortes chaleurs estivales ou des journées un peu plus fraîches. Un vrai bonheur pour profiter pleinement de la nature, en toute sérénité.
Côté améliorations ? Honnêtement, nous cherchons encore… Peut-être un peu trop calme pour les citadins en manque d’adrénaline ? À moins d’installer des haut-parleurs dans les arbres pour diffuser un fond sonore de klaxons et d’embouteillages, histoire de se sentir comme chez soi ! (Blague à part, c’est justement ce calme qui fait tout le charme du lieu.)

Ce que j’ai apprécié dans l’emplacement du camping des Dunes, c’est justement son positionnement entre ombre et soleil, comme je le disais plus haut. L’espace disponible permet d’installer confortablement un camping-car avec table, chaises et store, presque comme un petit salon extérieur. Peut-être qu’un peu plus de verdure pour délimiter l’emplacement serait un plus.
