Le Bivouac Campground, in the heart of the Jura, offers a variety of lodging options. Located in Pont du Navoy, in a wooded park spanning over 2 hectares, Le Bivouac sits along the banks of the Ain River. You’ll enjoy direct access to the river, where you can relax or go fishing. Only one pet per campsite or accommodation unit is allowed. Our playground will delight children with a trampoline, a slide, and a mini trailer. Older guests can enjoy the recreation area for a game of pétanque, foosball, or ping-pong, near the terraces of the bar-restaurant. Many recreational activities (swimming, sailing, canoeing, and kayaking) are available just a few minutes away. Lake Chalain, a marvel of the Jura region, is one of the largest natural lakes listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hike along a 3.7-km trail that will take you to the famous Hérisson Waterfalls.

Review of the campsite

We stayed for 3 nights and used as a base to tour the central Jura region for which it is ideally placed. Restaurant had a limited but acceptable menu choice. Wine tasting evening was great.

None really, a pleasant stay and we would stay again.
