Review of the campsite
The surroundings and the lake are very beautiful, but it is right next to the motorway.
This campsite is not worthy of 4 stars. The sanitary facilities were worn out and very dirty. They were not cleaned in the evening or in the morning. We were glad that we only stayed here for one night.

The vibe is so peaceful and relaxing
Pitch we had large electric hook up was perfect and felt very private
Toilets and showers were basic adequate and cleaned regularly
The site is clean and litter free
There is security at night which is reassuring and no access in a vehicle on to site after 23.00 which keeps it quiet
The bins are a little walk out of the site which I think is brilliant , nothing worse than being pitched near the bins
The lake is beautiful sadly we could not swim because of algae
We could sit on the beach and watch the sunset
The reception shop had very limited essentials products maybe a few more bits but not an issue
There is supermarkets within 10-15 min drive
