Clean, tidy, spacious. Helpful staff, nice cafe and bar and ideally located for visiting Bayeux and historic sites

Friendly and warm welcome. Nice pitch for our motorhome. Warm showers and very clean toilets. We cycled to Omaha beach and along the coast and into Port Bessain. Had a lovely beer sitting outside the bar in the sun. The oil area looked lovely but we didn’t use it. A great and enjoyable stay.
We couldn’t find the area for the grey water.

Great stay!

The owners were so friendly and helpful despite my poor French! The chalet was great; it had everything we needed and the fresh pastries and bread were delicious! I would absolutely recommend this place and hope to return.
Just a kettle so we could boil water for a cup of tea!

A 2 night stay for a family of four in August 2025
Review of the campsite
We liked the layout of the campsite and the size of the pitches. The petanque court and bar were also fun areas.
A supply of toilet paper and seats for the toilets would have been a massive improvement. My family were very disappointed by this. A real shame as we would have given 9s and 10s for everything were it not for this.

Friendly hosts, the possibility to order bread in the morning and a nice atmosphere on the site. And there is always a laugh in the smalle bar/cafetaria.Reine Mathilde is a nice place to discover around the area.

Super friendly staff, great pool, really clean. Big pitches. Cant fault the place. Convenient access to Paris and Euro Disney makes this an ideal location. Only €5 train fare to Paris from Marles-En-Brie station which is 10 mins from campsite. Will come back.

Liked the relaxed feel of the site. Had a perfectly cooked steak on the Friday evening. Good to have reception and bar open all day. The team work hard to make sure everything runs smoothly Within driving distance of WW2 memorials etc.
Showers, toilets and laundry facilities could do with an upgrade. I appreciate this would be expensive though. Not providing toilet tissue is only a problem if you don’t know or forget to take your own. Instructions to washers etc and signage around the site could be a little clearer.
