Friendly, clean and right on the edge of the lake

The roads between the pitches are very narrow and hard to manoeuvre a large motorhome onto

Our campsite has been carefully designed to follow the natural contours of the landscape. While this can make manoeuvring larger motorhomes more challenging, it also offers many advantages, including individual terraced levels, more private pitches, and elevated areas with panoramic views over the lake and its spectacular sunsets. My two night stay

Review of the campsite

We recently stayed two nights with you and can honestly say we had the most relaxing two days. Beautiful place!

Only one thing we would say is the arrangement with the gate not opening until 8am. We really needed to be out by 7am to hit the road for our ferry, we were told we could pack our van on the road the night before which meant we would of had to carry all our camping equipment up the hill many of times which was not possible. We managed to find someone who opened it for us at 7.45 who said it shouldn’t open until 8am by then we were delayed lots!

We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay at our family-friendly campsite. We have taken note of your comments and will endeavour to implement your suggestions as soon as possible, within reason, in order to meet the needs of our camping guests. As you know, some points are easier to implement than others, and some are beyond our control. With regard to the opening hours of the entrance gate, we are sorry but we have to ensure the peace and quiet of our campers by limiting noise pollution. It is not pleasant when you are on holiday to be woken up every morning by your neighbours tidying up their belongings or driving around at 6 or 7 a.m. or after 11 or 12 p.m. in the evening. Please be aware that we work every day of the year to try to satisfy you as best we can within our means. We thank you once again for your trust and wish you a very nice day.
