After being soaked at our Annecy camp site we opted for a mobile home. It was tidy and neat. Beds were comfortable as was the private bathroom. But next time we’ll be camping again!
The condition of the terras around the mobile home was a little bit run down. Needs some renovation.

The campsite was really shaded and the location was excellent with beach to swim from. The facilities were good and there was a lovely bar and restaurant. The people running the campsite were super helpful and lovely.

Review of the campsite
We had a weary pleasant stay in the campsite for 3 nights. Booked a boat trip at the reception wich was great.
Service and facilities were excellent.

Had a nice pitch at the riverfront.
We arrived one day early and the staff were wery helpful to accommodate us. We were a group on 3 campervans so that was a nice surprice to be able to stay a extra night.
The pitch was a bit "sandy".

Beautiful setting next to the ardeche river and at the beginning if the gorge. Lots of bird song , especially nightingales and some rare species. Reception staff very good
Noisy groups till midnight and beyond. Management didn't seem to enforce 11pm curfew.
No wifi in furthest plots and electric points a long way from pitches

Nature camping in the heart of the ardeche

We were here for a week and thanks to the location of the campsite we were able to visit many villages in the region but also enjoy our vacation on the beautiful sandy beach at the campsite itself
Offer a public freezer at the reception so that you can put in your own cooling elements.

The Campsite is beautiful and the lay of it is perfect. Everything is nice manicured. The workers are very friendly.

No Fly screens in the Chalet, some things are damaged (Window in the Kitchen, Door bathroom, terrace, tap in the Kitchen, Toilette leans because the floor underneath is damaged…).

Review of the campsite
The set up and vibe of the camping were super nice! The owners were fun and sweet. It was a smal camping just on the river, so you could easily go to the water to cool down. The toilets and showers were very clean! Breakfast was available and tasted great!
The river side spot is nog always by the actual riverside. It’s just the lower half of the camping. Not a problem, but good to know. Would still pick the riverside, since the spots felt a bit more cozy and private. There is quite some noise (4 out of the 11 nights we were there, 2 times from our camping and 2 times from other places around the camping). Bring some ear buds in case you are not a deep sleeper. Ofcourse you could always join in with the music

Par excellence! Yet again
Review of the campsite
Been staying here most years since 1990 , why ? Because it’s a fabulous location ? Yes, but more over the owner , who was once the chef here is just about as friendly and accommodating as you could wish for . The campsite is well laid out and all the facilities you need and are crisp and cleaned every day . Nice restaurant on site , small shop for all your needs and close enough to the local town for everything else . Perfect !
