We were really grateful for Claire’s advice on finding a bike shop to repair my bike.
The lake is lovely for swimming and the atmosphere in the camping is great for relaxing. Sanitaires were always clean and the showers were nice and hot.
It was a great place to unwind after cycling in the high mountains.

Appreciated beers/fries at the snack for a nice sunset.

An absolutely lovely, friendly campsite. Made us feel very welcome and were always helpful. Very knowledgeable about the area and gave us lots of recommendations for beautiful days out. They had an evening of live music which was excellent. Toilets and showers were always clean and they had plenty of hot water.
The only thing that we think would make it better is a few more access points on the far side of the lake for dogs with little legs!

Loved the lake and the area. Kayaks were great fun
Pitches were not divided with any hedges or plants, so it felt like you were on top of each other with no privacy between pitches. no lighting in the campsite at night. Toilet block far too small for a full campsite - often had to queue 10 minutes for a shower. The soap dispenser in the toilets was often empty. Campsite owners were informative enough, but very little warmth - something we are not used to when going to a relatively small campsite - we weren't made to feel particularly welcome and it definitely felt as if they didn't want to be there or interact with their guests.

Nice, kind, cosy, simple. A campsite with a fresh,small lake and great views.This place takes you back to a simple camping life, where everyone talks to each other. Not one of those horrible mega-camps with their swimming pools and big animation-programs. People here can keep themselves animated. Every evening, the kids from 5 to 18 all gather together at the lake and all have fun, great to see. Big bonus: at night you see a stunning starry sky above you, as the campsite is not lit.
Nice activities to do all around the area, you do not have to drive very far.
Better placement of motion-sensors in the shower/toilet areas: It is a bit annoying that the light suddenly switches off at night and you have to walk around through the building in hope of switching it back on. But it is not a very big deal.

Just needed a basic pith, no electricity. And that is what we got, it was clean and spacious.
What is specially good, is that the pitches are kept rough and natural. No neat lines, no high hedges that border the pitch, no "this is my property, keep out" kind of placement. Borders are just roughly shown as some stones around each area. Contributing to the old, open basic camping style where people are still easily accessible for interacting with each other.

We loved the peaceful setting. Great facilities and the free kayaks and paddleboards on the private lake were a bonus. Beautiful walk into Entrevaux village.

Super location beside a lake. A lovely 1.5km walk along the river into Entrevaux. Lots to do if you want it or just relaxing, swimming or using the free kayaks and canoes.
