Review of the campsite

The position of the campsite is great, loved the cycle path along the river.

Showers and toilets not very inviting, we showered in the van.

Very clean well maintained, limited facilities but the end of the season and all clean and well cared for. Pitches large, felt private and adequate shade. Fantastic spot next to the river, great for getting to town and walking or cycling the river route. Friendly staff and helpful.

Large groups of young possibly temporary workers staying in the lodges on site. They stayed up and were sat outside and noisy until 1am. They were playing music admittedly in the late afternoon and whilst we are not shock with lyrics including “f**k” frequently, it isn’t what you want to hear while relaxing on a otherwise pleasant campsite on holiday. They were also up en mass and leaving the site with much banging at 6am in diesel vans. It is a shame but not a good mix with holiday vibe and would prevent me booking the site again.

Very helpful reception staff. Campsite situation good for visiting town. Campsite washing and toilet facilities seemed inadequate. Other than that campsite washing very well laid out and cared for.

As already stated about toilets etc. The town has a shortage of restaurants, thank goodness for the Pizza van in near car park.

Stayed for one night. Late arrival not a problem. Lovely setting on the riverbanks with private pitches shaded by trees.

Great location, close to town and bike route along the river. Clean camping ground and facilities.

Not so much to do for little children. Not clear that the swimming pool next door was closed for 2 years already.

Nice size pitches. Next to river walk. Walk to lovely old town is 5-10 mins, lovely place.

Schöne Stellplätze mit Blick auf die Saône. Toiletten und Duschen waren zweckmäßig und sauber. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, Croissant und Baguette wurden vorbestellt und das hat super funktioniert.

Eine Möglichkeit zum Hände abtrocknen nach dem Toilettengang wäre super.

Site very well set out

No toilet roll provided in toilets. Site actively promotes nature and quiet but allows groups to party in a marquee then set fireworks off at midnight. Bread very over priced and not very fresh Only had one toilet block opened on our first night

Camping Kanopée Village in Trévoux. The campsite is charming, with a fantastic location and lovely views over the river. The staff are warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home.

Soap in the toilets. This was a big letdown. Why do you not provide any for washing hands? It's shameful. So many ways to contaminate everything on-site. Even though your site is lovely I would not come back for this hygiene reason
