Near the footpaths, we will advise you on the ballades and the multitudes of lakes to be discovered, in the national park of the Pyrenees, in the car or with foot. On leaving Lourdes follow the road which twists and turns between moutains and valleys up to the « pays Toy », the « valley of light ». Like the points of a star the roads branch out from Luz towards the valleys of Barèges and Gavarnie. The ski stations of Barèges, Gavarnie and Luz Ardiden offer quality skiing slopes, there are also legendary sites to visit such as the Tourmalet, the Pic du Midi de Bigorre (from which one can explore the stars) and the « cirques »,of Gavarnie, Estaubé and Troumouse which form the frontier between France and Spain.

Camping les Mijeannes has a perfect location at the bottom of the Pyrenees. This is ideal for exploring the region. The campsite has a 10ha site with lots of greenery, tranquillity, comfortable facilities, fishing, hiking, canoeing and much more. The pitches are spacious, at least 100m² and shaded. We have a beautiful swimming pool with slide and children's pool. For the children we have a playground, bouncy castles and trampolines. In high season there is entertainment, but also a snack bar where you can get pizza and other delicious meals. In short, come to Camping les Mijeannes for a wonderful holiday in nature and close to the mountains and enjoy a well-deserved break! There is plenty to do in the region and the campsite is an ideal starting point for visits to caves, perfect for a hot summer day, prehistoric parks, a wolf park and much more! Andorra is an hour and a half away which is perfect for a day of cheap shopping. An hour's drive away you'll find Toulouse which is a fun and welcoming city. Stroll through the streets and go to the famous Capitole for a nice drink on the terrace. Medieval Carcassonne is about a 45-minute drive away and is definitely worth a visit!
