Review of the campsite
We stayed in a hard standing pitch with hookup and a private bathroom/kitchenette. The pitch was quite muddy and we were surprised we needed to clean the bathroom after (which made us think maybe only the people who used it before cleaned it?) The site also needed quite a few fixes - such as broken fences and long grass. Very quiet site and super close to the beach and lots of coastal walks. Short 20 minutes walk to the nearest town with a few lovely little restaurants. Overall, a good stay and we were undisturbed.
As we were staying during off season, maybe many of the fixes would be done by summer. We had plenty of space and it was super quiet, but once it’s full, we imagine it would feel very crowded. Suggest visiting in off season like we did for a better experience.

Stayed here when they had the shared facilities closed for the season. Excellent information provided prior to the stay with everything you need to know. Did not see any staff due to close season but all instructions were left for us when we arrived. Information on where to go if you need help. Facilities were ready and spotless. Pitch size suitable. A little muddy but wooden steps are provided for you to use. Very quiet and great location next to the beach.

Accommodation review - Premium pitch with private sanitary facilities and 10amp electricity
Very quiet and secluded, could see the stars and hear the sea at night, so very atmospheric. Private facilities are great - perfect toilet, shower, fridge and space for food prep/washing up. Level pitch.
Muddy pitch. We noticed other pitches had some wooden squares/slabs that could be arranged as a path, but we didn’t have any so we collected a few from an empty pitch, which helped us stay off the mud. After finding out we should clean the bathroom it made us question whether it is professionally cleaned or whether they rely on the guest who is leaving to clean it. So whilst it looked clean, it may not have been.

We loved our time at this site. It's in a beautiful location and the mobile home was comfortable and well equipped. The walk into town is outstanding and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The only reason I didn't give this an 'excellent ' rating was that we needed to leave promptly on our final day and it was difficult due to no one arriving to do the final inspection.

Accommodation review - DOUBLE pitch with 10amp electricity
Spacious pitches, lots of greenery and shade. Very close to the beach. Helpful staff (they will book a local restaurant for you if your French isn't good enough). Small shop on the campsite for bread, ice cream, and basic necessities. Adequate sanitary facilities. You can enjoy a beautiful walk along the beach to the nearest village (Barfleur).

a two night stay
Review of the campsite
stayed in the beautiful field what was new for me because i come here for years. it was very quiet and close to nature. after all i was very happy there because a big schoolgroup of young people visited the campsite as well but were well behaving.

Hello Michelle,
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re delighted that you enjoyed the stunning view over the Havre de Crabec.
Indeed, the GR223 coastal path runs alongside our campsite, offering beautiful walks along the shoreline. Sunny Sundays tend to attract many walkers.
As for the sanitary facilities, walking just fifty metres further would have led you to our second block, fully functional with toilets, showers, and... hot water! In the first block, a hot water point for washing up is clearly signposted. This block will be completely renovated next year.
Lastly, we noticed you cut your stay short by a night without letting us know. That’s always a bit disappointing, especially when a quick word would have been enough for a friendly chat.
Perhaps on a future visit, one of our pitches with private facilities might change your mind about our little family-run campsite.

Accommodation review - Pitch sea view with electricity 10amp.
Pitch with sea view was lovely , but the pictures don’t show a lane in between the pitch & sea, do on the Sunday it was very busy with people walking , cycling , driving past .
No soap or hot water to wash hands after using the toilet , no hot water to wash pots , only 3 toilets working for the use of all on the campsite !
I didn’t use the showers but there was hot water in the sink cubicle .
We were booked in for 2 nights but came away after the first .

The staff are really friendly and helpful. Booking is so easy the price is excellent. The site is very clean and well kept. We absolutely love everything about it. We have stayed there before and we will stay there again.
We adore dogs but wish some owners took greater pride in clearing up after them . This is not a major problem and it certainly is not the fault of the site.

We have a big overland truck 9m x2.5m and our pitch was really generous. Trees have been planted as plot boundaries and once grown they will also create some welcome shade.

A lovely campsite overlooking the sea
Review of the campsite
A very warm welcome awaited me and I was shown to my pitch. Lovely setting with only a short walk to the beach and sea. Plenty to do in the area and the well stocked reception area was great for essentials - including fresh croissants and bread. Would recommend!
