Review of the campsite
It’s a couple of miles out of the main tourist centre. This suited us and provided a quieter base for visiting Le Mont Saint Michel. We were able to cycle a short way on the road, with a marked cycle lane, before using the off road path along the edge of the marsh leading to Le Mont Saint Michel. A really enjoyable flat ride.
The best campsite of our tour.
As advised on the website, the pool was closed for the season. However, we would have enjoyed a swim.

Location - near Mont St Michel, good cycling route there and sunset view over Mont St Michel nearby the campsite.
Clean and adequate facilities.
Cassette toilet emptying facility is small and cramped - not very hygenic.
Toilet/shower blocks OK but cramped. Could add toilet seats and increase number of shower wiping/sweeping implements.
Shower cubicles small and not easy to keep clothes/towels dry.

Large pitch. Hedges and trees to break up the field. Very clean facilities, numerous showers, toilets and hand basins. Bread and croissants available to order the day before.
No food available on site, could be an issue for some.

Stayed in our own motorhome.
Reasonable sized pitch.
Electricity plug-in for our pitch not easily accessible, meaning our lead would have to be draped across another pitch and subject to another heavy vehicle driving across it - not very safe.

the campsite was okay but a bit neglected

The pigeons there were quite wild, pooping on everyone’s lots. The pool was always closed and toilets were pretty dirty. There was nowhere to plug in a hair dryer.

Lovely helpful staff with very good language skills. Super amenities, excellent disabled facilities.
Plot 60 should not be used as the electrics do not work and is smelly due to its nearness to the toilet disposal which is not covered.

Great bicycle route to the mount off road all the way. Nice little pool.
Mixed toilets, would like womens only area..
Toilet waste area needs improving. General tidy up of site needed such as hedges needed pruning, strimming of grass needed.

Sunny pitch with grass (no. 7). Hedges between pitch for privacy. Reception staff very helpful .
Lack of some basics in the shop. No food available n the snack bar even though it's advertised as being available. Toilets need refurbishing, bad smell in main toilet block but managed to use the disabled area which was much better.
