Hedesunda Camping, close to Hedesunda village, creates an atmosphere of a wonderfully landscaped park. It is a quiet camping ground, located remarkably beautiful on a lakeside, with its own jetties and sandy beach, known as 'Sandnäsbadet', an ideal destination, to go swimming, fishing, canoeing, or just to relax in. With more than five hectares of grassland and forest, it offers some 80 spacious sites for tents and caravans. Even with all facilities readily available you still have a feeling of being 'out in the wild', making a stay on our Campsite an unforgettable experience. The showers and toilets (also for the disabled) are centrally located near the reception office. Good cooking facilities are available, including electric and microwave ovens, hot water dish washing and all modern laundry facilities. There are 50 camping spots available with electricity.

Quiet island family camping, close to national park.

Review of the campsite

We enjoyed the tranquility of countryside and nature environments. Great service at the camping lot. Nice restaurant in Hedesunda village, Södra Brunn, with low key, well-prepared food and friendly service. Popular location for lake/ river swimming with a nice sandy beach. Added to our list of places to return to.

Review of the campsite

Great not to big campsite that feels like a beautiful park. Super friendly and helpful owners. Good services. It was nice to get fresh bread every morning.

More bathrooms, sometimes it was quite crowded.
